CC is a rabbit hole. Every time I watch a CC overview I go oh my goodness I need it and now my mods folder is so big and my build menu is so cluttered but I can’t stop 😂

It really is amazing what she achieves. Those books were on a whole other level of mind blowing. I saw she did a yacht a while back, so you beat her there - yours is bigger! ;-)
When I was looking at the animated waterfall, I was thinking of waterslides, I wish we had those in the game--and I don't mean the ones from the backyard pack, but huge ones that they have in water parks. I really miss those--irl that is. I can't wait for the pandemic to be over. Wow, you can make a whole city on the ship. That's not meant to be criticism, but it got me thinking and the creative mentality flowing. Thank you for the inspiration.
Your love and creativity for Sims just helps give so much hope for Sims 5 and I love seeing your builds you've created in Sims 4.
Sims 5 will be good for builders, like new things to use in the game, just like we've had new things for Sims 4, but there's another focus for Sims 5 we haven't completely had before I've read and it's something I hope will work out. Most who just build I am seeing won't be much into it, but we've some very social players too that would be great to reach out to as well.
My hopes for Sims 5 is to take the best from all we've had and try to put them into Sims 5. And the future of Sims 5 will really be about the support from players. You know how EA is.
Also, I was thinking about mentioning a castle build early into watching this vid. I'd love to see you build one. 😊

That's a cool story about your Mum. It must be so nice to have something like this that you share. Does she ever upload to the gallery? CC is fantastic and for me it's what keeps me going with TS4. Your Mum is in for a very exciting time searching for it all. Now you're both on PC, how about some kind of a collab with your Mum? That could be very interesting. :-)
It's definitely a huge motivation, there is always some fresh and new and CC shopping feels like shopping but for free (Most of the time). :) A collab could be so fun yesss! I will give her time to get used to the new contols and all that and then I will ask her!

Kate, for debug rocks, you can use some from Realm of Magic. you can rotate them by using T.O.O.L

I could listen to you say Journey to Batuu endlessly, this build has made me so down because I constrict myself with my builds, but imma try and get there
Honestly I totally know the feeling of constricting myself. My main thing are mansions and they're probably my favorite type of build to work on but I've noticed that I've held myself back when it comes to more over the top, fantasy stuff like this ship. Just leave your comfort zone and try something new if you want, it's also a new thing for me but it's sooo much fun! :)

Not sure if you have tried this, but when I do bridges, I just make a room under it, make it the same color then add the base game clear/tinted floor to ceiling windows, makes it look open, if it is a longer bridge the frames look like the support beams, 🙂
When doing pools and ponds I will use a royal blue for pools and a more aqua color for ponds when I use a pool as a pond, lake ,ocean, etc. (😂), the tints help with the look also, 😁

Dear Kate! I hope you see this, I have a question! You had that build bug where your lot became unable to load in live mode, right? Like it's only accessible from the map build mode? If I'm not completely mistaken, sorry if so..! I just experienced that same wonderful bug with my build in sulani with lots of ladders and some stairs but deleting them didn't make it playable again.. I wonder if you ever solved that build of yours and if so, how? It's super frustrating to build something for hours and hours and then notice it's unplayable.. 😥
