PART 2: • Common - interview pt.... (20 years of "Like Water For Chocolate", freestyle, Nas, achieving dreams)
We drove to Berlin and had a chance to sit down with one of the greatest MC's ever, the one and only Common, to talk about his latest album "Let Love" and its connection to "Be", his personal transition and whole journey to "Let Love", dealing with negativity, discovering himself, as well as the epic song "I Used To Love H.E.R.", its renditions and covers by different artists (such as Murs & 9th Wonder), and Common's steady love for hip-hop, despite its changing nature and sound.
Chicago legend also remembered his dear friend and producer J Dilla and spoke about the process of creating a new song over Dilla's production - "H.E.R. Love".
