Great video sir! My go to is you tubers that actually use the machines. I trust your review and subscribed. I first look at the negative posts on a company and Ricoma has a few negative posts against them. But your review here makes me look at Ricoma in a positive way. Customer service is a big game changer for me also. I was quoted on the TC 1501, but you made a good point on getting bigger if can. I hope all is well for you in these days we're living in. Do work. Peace

Thank you for the video, Romero. I, know very little about the embroidery business.
Just like you, I'm doing my research, to eventually buy an embroidery machine. I agree with you about buying high-end machines. Buy quality and reliable equipment otherwise, you will outgrow smaller machines fast.
I'm also buying a sublimation machine in a month or two. I will start with sublimation and work my way to embroidery as I learn more about the business and the machines available.
Thanks again for the informative videos

my wife and i love your videos. We purchased the mt 1501 for her and would like to know what brand of thread do you use? what speed are you able to run your machine at and still get a nice stitch and less thread and bobbin breakage? she would love to find a brand of thread that will accommodate speeds over 600 (she currently is trying out brothread but she gets constant breakage (even adjusted tension) with any speed over 600) thank you

I gave up on the 1501 - I purchased a ZSK and man it blows the Ricoma out of the water. I can't tell you how many caps I wasted trying to get a decent sew out with the TC-1501 and it was always subpar to the point I stopped offering caps for sale. After 1 day with my ZSK i am taking orders and selling caps! Ricoma is a basically a hit or miss. (The 1501 was my second machine I had a tajima before this and I got sucked in by the Ricoma marketing, so before someone asks if I have expereince I do)

My #1 recommendation is to have the least amount of clutter, unnecessary equipment and junk in your area. We usually keep 2 blank tables to use as working space. That way we have space to place garments and materials per projects. We have a good amount of space so our blanks are shelved on the opposite side of our room.
