There’s multiple doctors, dieticians, and scholars that have been bringing all this to light. Thomas Seyfried, Dr Gundry, Dr Lustig and many more. It’s all about metabolic health, and they get down to the cellular level, and how and why things work or don’t work. Many Diabetes, cancer and Alzheimer’s patients have found significant improvements through metabolic therapies. I’ve been making some changes to my diet, but I admit, it’s terribly hard. I don’t eat fast food much at all, but it’s the “easy to eat” foods…potato chips, canned foods or even a peanut butter & jelly sandwich. We are trained to find the “easy” foods. That’s the hard part. It’s all so processed, and full of sugars, salts, chemicals and preservatives, many of which may cause the very illnesses we try to avoid.

Most SNAP benefits go to children, and parents are buying them junk because it's easy. Now we have a health crisis. Supplemental nutrition programs should only allow healthy food options. Years ago it was rice, beans, cheese, and peanut butter. We can do better than that, but not give carte blanche to destroy kids health.

I never needed to do any of that. My anxiety became less sugar is nonnegotiable. He should explain that to you is nonnegotiable you either stop eating it or you don’t yes you’re gonna have some sugar withdrawals, but you have to fight through that and once you fight through the first two or three withdrawals, you don’t have anymore And it’s easier for you to go into the store and walk past the 2 L of Pepsi or the candy bars. I do it all the time now and have done it for 2 1/2 years and I see that stuff but then I also remember what it does to my body Causes. Massive inflammation in my body and causes pain like no other. You have to change your mindset. I’m serious. There’s a two week challenge that Dr. Berg does with people and if you can stop eating sugar for two weeks, you’ll see the results and you’ll see how much better you feel. Your skin will look better. Your health will improve, I had high blood pressure. I was overweight. I stopped eating the sugar and that all went away, but you simply have to make a decision to stop eating stop by those cookies. I don’t care party no party get together no get together just make it a point to stop buying the sugar.products, and if you stop giving the stuff to your children, you’ll see a massive change in them too. There are too many sugar-free products on the counter that you can buy all you gotta do is describe your phone and google it and it’ll it’ll tell you all of the sugar-free cheesecakes cakes cookies I know I buy them, and I can have cheesecake that’s sugar-free they even have a keto cheesecake that you can make that’s absolutely phenomenal and you don’t have to worry about sugar in it. People need to start taking the effort to change their lives. The sugars probably not gonna go away for a long time so it’s the people that need to start making the change in a vicious cycle I was in a very vicious cycle, anxiety, depression, eat till I was in a bliss and then felt horrible because I’m overweight and couldn’t find a relationship and then going to the gym only to plateau and then leave the gym and stop at 7-Eleven and grab a fountain Pepsi drink so the vicious cycle I was in I had to break the cycle by just stopping the sugar and everything changed

like her i thot i had a lack of discipline when it came to carbs. i could not keep anything sweet in my home other than peanut butter bc i would devour it. thank God i didnt look obese. im 5’2” and probly weighed around 150 lbs at that time. my bf stopped bringing home donuts for his coffee bc he knew of my carb addiction. thankfully i wasnt raised to drink coffee 🙏🏼 however, a few months ago i started the carnivore diet and increased my level of protein along w getting more vit d from the sun and poof my sugar/carb addiction is gone. hallelujah 🎉👆🏼

It’s impossible to eliminate sugar when 74% of the products on the grocery store shells contain sugar. Cooking for yourself won’t matter because every ingredient you cook with has hidden sugar. It’s never gonna stop because the sugar industry is powerful and lucrative.

Even healthy carbs if eaten too much isn’t good. It’s all over and around us, it will be a struggle no matter what. We need to find a balance. Cuz if we don’t we can fall in the trap of trying to xut it out completely too hard. And that alone can set us up for failure or set back. I do think we can’t stop the big companies we just need to support each other to find a balance. Remembering that the more we eat it the more we crave. Its like this with soending to much time on computers doing all kinds of things to bring us pleasure. Those can become addictive as well, food has added health risk.
