You don't get to hear this one much. Because 1. The center village cuts it off 2. The usual "item obtained" jingle. 3. Music starting all over again when it's interrupted.
Someone's Mother Out There: Ew, this is disgusting! This scantily dressed young woman and all her friends deserve to go to hell! Shantae: Hahaha... already have.
yeah, especially given how enemies from here show up in the finale I think it's mainly to give you some breathing room from these said enemies... maybe
First, you need to learn where the enemies are. Mudbog Island overall, is very difficult when you play it for the first time. Going in carelessly can give a game over, or at least wreck your health. Secondly, it's a good idea to come here with some hearts on your health, as well as having purchased the enhancements for some of your tools. Also, if you find it too stressful to travel back to port, bring lots of pirate flares, which will instantly transport you back to Risky, and her ship in dock.
They probably use similar sounds to make it. I don't know how to explain it. The sound bites and such sound similar to the sound bites on older consoles but are updated I guess.
Modern consoles, and games don't have the necessity to compress sound samples. Older consoles, and games had to, if they were advanced enough to even have sound sampling. It's likely what you're noticing are the uses of synthesizers, as well as 8, and 16 bit sounding instruments, which can sound close to the sounds of older consoles. The difference is that the compression of the samples are no longer needed, so the developers use samples that are by default, higher quality, and uncompressed.
Feel like his place had alot of missed potential. I mean the level part is really short and really odd a save room below when there is nothing save for a coin. Also the fact we see human Rottytops and potenially Shantae's Father. Wish there was more done here.
I listened to this song in Dagron's dungeon. It fits perfectly and is much better suited for said dungeon than the actual Dagron's dungeon( Obliete of suffering) theme.
0:06 Touhou Project Satori's Theme: Satori Maiden ~ 3rd Eye (and this isn't the first track from the Shantae series to reference Touhou music: the second is from a different composer in the Seven Sirens, Into the Mine / Septette for the Dead Princess). I've been listening to only one Touhou music for half a decade and now I recognize coincidences literally everywhere. Everyone wants to "borrow" from each other and ZUN is no exception he very much took a lot from somewhere else (including Mega Man and Sonic the Hedgehog series).
Moreover, in both cases there is a contextual connection. In the first case an underground city (both games have such a thing) and in the second case an abundance of bats (Remilia as a vampire can also turn into one of them).
Arabic Castlevania, this song is so great

How can a game be filled with this many bangers
Two words: Jake. Kaufman.
WayForward just does that

making banger osts
Jake Kaufman is such a good composer.
Kinda ironic how one of the darkest areas in any of the Shantae Games lore-wise has one of the most bopping bgms
Someone's Mother Out There: Ew, this is disgusting! This scantily dressed young woman and all her friends deserve to go to hell!
Shantae: Hahaha... already have.
Hands down one of the best ost songs that will never age
Absolute banger. This track is amazing. The melody and chord progression at 1:28 is magnificent!
Why does this song go so hard? The section this song plays in isn't even very big.
Jake Kaufman makes every song a banger, no matter how long it plays for
gotta love that background chorus.
how I love this OST it was an honor to have finished this game yesterday
How did you find the final area and boss? I’m currently stuck on the final boss:(
I love spooky music like this

@Lucas Frejborg im impressed
God damn 3 people made comments about how there aren't any dislikes, and no troll ever disliked the video...
That's *legendary*

The Beat Theme In Shantae To Date
Best Lol
@@zackdoodlesva2 Rotty Tops theme gives it a damn good run for its money though
7 sirens has even better tracks tbh
castlevania has been silent ever since this dropped
One of the best tracks of the franchise.
This stage felt more like a ''before the finale'' feeling then the snowy island. Wish they switched their placement in the game.
yeah, especially given how enemies from here show up in the finale
I think it's mainly to give you some breathing room from these said enemies... maybe
Kinda reminds me of Mount Vesuvius from DuckTales Remastered.
I love this.
why didnt you first
Maybe because Ducktales and Shantae have the same developer
same composer
And same composer (Jake Kaufman) as well. Thank you!
Yeah, it does, though as everyone is saying, Wayforward also done the DuckTales Remaster, so I'm not surprised.
That bassline tho.. thats the good shit
Kinda reminds me of CastleVania, specifically CastleVania Judgement
reminds me of a megaman theme. with music more in line like the nintendo switch has (ie megaman 11). shade man would love this.
Shantae it's great graphics and also there's secret dungeon teleport to classic cave from shantae gbc 🎮
Yeah, just crawl under the podest on the very first screen of the first dungeon
Thanks for that
Gotta admit, this stage was a real challenge......with a kick ass soundtrack to boot!
Does anyone else find Village of Lost Souls to be really hard? I died a lot here.

While the track itself is hard, first tried the sonavabitch, healing items carried my ass
I noticed that a lot of soundtracks used in the shantae games sound really similiar to soundtracks used in the older sonic gsmes
They probably use similar sounds to make it. I don't know how to explain it. The sound bites and such sound similar to the sound bites on older consoles but are updated I guess.
Probably helps that their designed to always have high energy since she's a dancer. Even the desert themes are fast paced instead of slow droughts.

It was a cool twist to see Rottytops' Human form.
Also I have a strong hunch the Warrior may have been Shantae's father.

I really wished Shantae kept that pirate bandana on for the entire game, it's looks greay on her.
Le même compositeur pour « the mummy »😍
