Old Town isn't going to cover/replace anything that is actually still working. Does Old Town cover the Minn Kota? Doubtful...

If it's still under warranty, yes! They sent me a new one for my first kayak! They have the best customer service in the nation.

@@FishingFloridaWithKO that's awesome! I purchased a new boat with Minn Kota motor. That motor was warranteed by Minn Kota. Not the boat Manufacturer (Tracker).. and by not the dealership.

@@FishingFloridaWithKO comes from the factory with Minn Kota motor. Anyway... I'm looking to purchase a pedal kayak...for long line trolling deep water. I like the thought of adding Electric motor later. Stability is probably my highest priority.

@@warrendonaldson4144 I also believe that Old Town and Minn Kota are owned by the same parent company. That being Johnson Outdoors. Could be why old town has an easier time doing warranty for their Minn Kota's.
