hello all! in this video, i show you what my weekend before the last week of work looks like :) i had only a week of work left to go before the holidays ~ and i am so ready! i haven't felt the best physically so i was seriously looking forward to getting some rest before the new year :)
i think this is my first time showcasing what i do during the weekend (i.e. friday to sunday), but sometimes i feel like the videos don't go for long enough for there to be a dedicated weekend vlog. anyway, i thought this time round it would still be good to share as i did quite a few things that i felt were worth sharing :) it's a wholesome good time with quite a few exciting unboxings, making matcha at home, seeing a classical concert, and heading to a farmer's market!

Its a good idea to have a seperate reading nook other than your bed! (And it is so cozy and snug❤) Beds are supposed to be for sleeping so when you read or do work or watch TV in them, it messes with your psychological sleep schedule. And, from experience, when I tried reading before bed, I noticed that I would get tired whenever I picked up a book! So my brain started associating books with sleep! :O (Not that it stops me from reading in bed sometimes because how can I resist the mound of covers on cold winter days and good kitty snuggles, haha)
haha i agree!! i also have to be completely “clean” when i get on my bed, and have a different set of clothes for when i’m outside the room and inside 😅 so i’d like a place to rest/lie down inside where i don’t need to be completely “clean” 😆 also yes!! i get so sleepy reading in bed, but the warmth and cute kitty snuggles wouldn’t stop me from doing it either 😂🤍

I also am a small room owner. Although it doesn't function as a bedroom yet. More like my dumping ground for stuff. I'm slowly working to buy the essentials tho! Like a mattress and a bedframe. The booknook is a brilliant idea.

It's so nice that you went to listen to the Messiah. I live in a small town that has pretty much nothing in the winter, everything happens during the summer. So I watched a representation of the Nutcracker ballet, I love it so much that I need to watch a recording every year, this year the ballet I chose was so so, but I enjoyed it anyway, let's hope there are new recordings next year that I can enjoy.
