I don't think it is but it is possible. This is sort of like the case that the foreman brothers investigated on chasing evil. The missing guy was found in the waste water plant.

This is right by his apartment, that’s why they are speculating it’s this young man.
You can see Caleb's apartment complex in the background. The last picture Caleb took is of the drainage ditch that was created for the purposes of delivering excess rainwater to this treatment site. It's Caleb.

Hi JLR and everyone reading. In the 90's I worked Monitoring Industrial Waste which is code for Sewers from 105 factories. I also helped the Sewer Division when issues came up. A pump station MAY have a filter that collects everything that is not the human by-products. If Caleb was in that sewer for several months he would be decomposing and might not be recognizeable. Also, it would take someone diving after the heavier bones since they don't float as easily. A manhole has a ladder built into it but it might be too slippery for someone intoxicated to negotiate, especially iat night. Hazmat suits would be required dealing with such fluids by all down inside the pump station. How he got into the Sewer system /pump station is the Coroner's job. I just wanted to answer so e of your questions that I can. Be safe!

My husband has worked in pump stations (electrician) and one he was in had a wall full of items that workers had pulled off the filter. I cannot imagine someone being in there like that. Incredibly sad.

So,the person they found inside there.."Wouldn't they had to have fallen in/be put into one of these man-hole openings"? Or could they have reached the pump station from falling in this little run-off water ditch?? 🤔
@@katmack4215 The ditch would have to go to a run-off drain somewhere alone that route. If the pump station is that close to his apartment, chances are slim he drown in the creek then ended up in the pump station. The most likely situation is that he fell (or was pushed) into the open manhole. Think of the Stephen King movie “It” where the small boy goes into the storm drain. Caleb is NOT a small boy and would not fit into a storm drain. I don’t know the type of storm drains used, either. I am talking about the ones that are slits on the road and sidewalks. The odds are much greater of an open manhole or even if foul play is involved of being pushed into the flow inside the pump station itself. (Just need a key to open the door.) Follow the most likely scenario instead of all “out there” events. “It” was fiction.
His dad Randy was there. He said it would be 24 to 48 hours for positive ID. Remains were not recognizable. Pants on remains match color of what Caleb was wearing that day.

Of course no information right now is 100% as we don't know the facts yet but I heard that what people are thinking are the blue teal pants is actually the body in it's decomposed state that the body turned blue from lack of oxygen. Hope and pray it's not Caleb but in any case the situation is not good. My heart is with the family of whoever this is.
The remains were sent to North Texas could take 4-6 weeks
they are saying his family is on the way down to Corpus Christi. The remains were found at the pumping station. The remains were uncovered by city workers. It is possible that all the water that CC received lately could have been a factor in locating the remains. Prayers for the family of the deceased person, regardless of who it is. They said that human remains were located a few days ago too, now the rest of the remains were found. The Cottages is located on Ennis Joslin Rd. The pump station is right off of Ennis Joslin Rd. There have been many young men missing in this area for some time

The body has been in water for quite some time so they would very likely be called to come in as would anybody else that had a missing family member.

Corpus Christi local here we had almost a whole week of rain could have moved his body up and out not to familiar with a pump station how it works or even looks but big possibility it is caleb.

It’s sewer. It’s toxic. You need hazmats to even go down there. They can’t just send searchers in there. I’m not sure yall know exactly what a pump station is.

I’m thinking from what I’m hearing is that remains came up a few days before? Could the body have been blocking something and they were just now able to locate it to bring them out? I honestly have no clue! Total speculation on my part.
