St Johns was sold out evry game when he played, he was Pete Maravich in the 80's, with better Defense....

That is why someone like Grant Hill is in the Hall. Mullin had a fantastic college career leading St. John’s to the Final Four. He won 2 gold medals as a member of Team USA Basketball (1984 and 1992). He also had a great NBA career where he was the face of the Warriors franchise. After retirement Mullin has been a GM and a consultant for the Warriors and a head coach at St. John’s. Tom Chambers had a nice NBA career, but he does not have the overall resume of Mullin. If this were just a Pro Basketball HOF Mullin may not be in the Hall. Chambers was also overshadowed by Barkley, KJ, and Majerle.
Jerry Hobbie used a two handed set shot in the early eighties playing for Fordham. He hit two 25+ footers against Michael Jordan (Fordham vs. UNC) and was voted on all the all tournament team in an early season tournament at Stanford.
