Great review guys. I've got a Sonata AWD on order. Like the Accord too but in Canada Accord is $40K for stripped FWD model vs Sonata with AWD, Leather, Pano roof & lots more for $36k.

  • @i.d.6492

Huyndai/Kia is by far the best option especially if you're car enthusiast and don't want to spend $45 to 50K on 300hp vehicle aka Type R or GRC with no arm rest. Not to mention you get an amazing warranty and have peace of mind if something does come up. They offer a great verity of engine options to suit all type of costumers. You want track beast with amazing exhaust note from factory at fraction cost get elantra N, you want a spacious fun car but can still be a great daily family sedan get K5gt/Sonata nline. You want affordable awd family sedan get regural k5 or sonata, you want a hybrid, they got it as well. Most of honda and toyota fanboys never drove either of the cars and say that they aren't good and exaggerate with a lie "a buddy of mine had kia...". I know when you see that beautiful K5GT with aggressive front end and amber drls you wish honda or toyota looked that good. To counter that, in your head you say "well at least my car reliable"🤣🤡😭

Hyundai decided years ago to offer a nore luxury experience to there lineup and now most all other brands followed suit . Thanks to Audi, BMW for the inspiration for Hyundai/ Kia. I have a feeling when I go to upgrade this car next year that I am going to await the 2025 Camry, or possibly get the new Crown. I've owned several cars including 3 Accords in the past. Sorry, too many problems and issues and recalls w/ Hyundai & Kia in the last few years, plus bad dealer & customer service. I think their styling is good, but their engineering, not quite. We own an old Sonata (2010) which was probably the last model where they were really trying for quality. When we replace that car later this year, Hyundai & Kia will NOT be on the list. I just don't trust them anymore.

Sonata is actually a pretty decent car. I leased 2.5 n/a sel for 3 years, and it had great handling. The engine was powerful enough to commute, and it had an amazingly good fuel economy. I had 0 issues during the ownership. I would choose Sonata every day over other midesize sedans. However, I really like the style of the new Camry. It's a little bit disappointing that it has exactly the same chassis and the powertrain as the old one, but reliability matters as the most for Toyota. I HATE the design of the new Accord. 9th gen had the best looking, and Honda ruined it:( I heard Mazda is going to build a rwd mazda6, and I can't wait for it😎
