BREN's journey to becoming M2 World Champions was unbelievable. BREN got demoted to the lower bracket early in the playoffs after losing 2-0 to Burmese Ghouls. From there, they slowly crawled their way to the Grandfinals while defeating MPL Champions from different countries and top tier teams. They won against Todak from Malaysia 2-1. They were defeated in game 1, putting Todak at match point but BREN bounced back and got the reverse sweep. The same scenario happened during their match against Alter Ego from Indonesia. They won 2-1 after dropping their first game. Then at the Lower Bracket Finals, they once again proved that they are the better team after defeating RRQ Hoshi from Indonesia, 3-1 and guess what? They also dropped their first game in this series. During the Grandfinals, BREN Esports took games 1 and 2. Then Burmese Ghouls bounced back, winning 3 straight games putting them at match point. The score was then 3-2 in favor of Burmese Ghouls in a best of 7 Finals. This means that if BREN loses Game 6, Myanmar would've taken home the trophy. Everything was at stake for BREN at this point as it could be their last game at the tournament and could potentially cost them the championship. Though the odds were against them, they fought hard and showed that they have the "puso" to win it all. Then came Game 7, the deciding game and we all know how it ended. It has been a hard-fought fight and BREN Esports ended on top.
And this was during the Pandemic. 5 years from now we will remember covid and who won during M2.
But i have full respect to xinn that after they where defeated by bren esports they still had time to hang out with bren so definitely rrq and bren are freinds
