I had no idea he passed away until now, seeing this video in my recommended feed. As an adolescent his school was foundational in my understanding of personal responsibility and integrity. Nothing but the best memories of what I learned here in Milford Connecticut.

I was blessed to be a student of Grandmaster Villari in his first school on Felton Street in Waltham, MA. He taught me things that would influence and enrich my life for the next fifty-plus years.
Thank you, Fred, for being such an important part of my life.

Wow, I never knew he passed away. I've seen him in person, you had to see his skill to truly appreciate just how good he really was.

I never met the man but trained for 14.5 years with Villari's system. I moved on to other ventures after attaining my 4th DAN.

Very nice tribute video. I train in the first dojo he opened in 1968 in Waltham.. it’s under a different system but all the same I’ve heard incredible stories about the man. They say he had an energy like no other. I heard about him even dangling students out the second floor window and one day an older gentleman stopped in and confirmed the story telling us one of them was him. Thank you sir.🙏🏼

I received my BB in 1 from Him personally and was lucky enough to be trained by him at his Home studio in Dedham in the mid to late 70s! And everything they say about his abilities is true! His energy, speed and power were on full display everyday! Im so lucky to have know him! I wish I stayed longer and became on of his masters!

I was trained by him at His Head Dojo in Dedham Ma and was honored to be tested and receive my B.B. from Grand Master Fred Villari Himself in 1978! His teaching has been with me for 40+ years even as I studied some other arts Kempo by The Grand Master is still my main style and has served me very well! RIP Great Grand Master!

Sad to have heard about Grandmaster Villari’s passing. I started at one of his schools in Lawrence, Mass. in the 80’s and met him a few times at tournaments. He definitely had an aura about him!! RIP…..we had another kempo school across the street (Bob Meserve’s)..we’d engage in some pranks and trash talk, etc…Grandmaster Villari called our instructor and put a stop to it before it got out of hand.

Bob Meserve was one of my 1st instructors. My brother taught for him in Haverhill...in fact he came to my brothers wedding

The very first school ever to give me an opportunity to teach was Villari’s in Antioch Illinois. They were the only ones who allows a Wing Chun class to teach after hours. I am forever grateful to Grandmaster Villari and his organization.
