- I found a way to evade the PSTN surveillance infrastructure when making a phone call. Just a little foresight and a little tech and a solution is at hand.
This prior video defines the problem.

virtual phone number has been out for a long time as long as I can remember. It's good that it's reiterated anew from a privacy point of view.
Virtual Phone Number?! Really?
What gets me is how govt. officials will transgress against the entire population for a piece of bread!
In what our government thinks it's their bread and butter...when it comes the telecommunications industry had been in bed with the government since the 1940's....
They've infected everything.
They can intercept our phone calls.
Listen in our phone calls.
Read our texts and email.
Know where we've been.
Anywhere and everywhere on the 'net.
Every line,every air wave.
The more technological software and hardware items we have, the easier they can keep tabs on you.
It's a brave new world our there.
At least it better be.
The govt is interested in catching criminals. It's much easier done if they can look up the historical contacts of the suspects. Really, my personal data leaking from doctors offices, banks, employers concern me much more, because I can't control that - they are just leaking them. While, if I want private communication with someone, I can always use an encrypted channel over the internet.
The government is on track to make every citizen a criminal.
Just wait, there is still a partial loaf and the wealthy have their bread protected wtih armed security that common people can not afford... Then you see the formula.
I vote we fund some special hemp neckties for them.
3-letter agencies have a voice pattern identity for every person who's used a phone in the last 3 decades. You can use any service they will know who you are.
They have to be able to intercept the packets and decrypt first though.
Through the PSTN. Correct. I said that. But this is not through the PSTN.
I wonder if there is voice-altering s/w...
Hello Rob, you may have mentioned it in the video and , if so, sorry for not paying enough attention. Would you please confirm that voice and text communications between PBX and SIP or between two SIPs are reliably encrypted by default and do escape mass surveillance?
@@weekendwarrior3420- I haven’t tried this, but it seems like you could do it in two stages: 1) voice to text, then 2) text to speech, selecting any of the many available voices
Thank you Rob! You're a hero in the privacy world. 👍
I totally agree!
William Binney tried to warn us.
Very useful solution. It is a bit hard to follow but this is amazing. voip to a real number. Great content!
I agree maybe it's because I'm neurologically divergent but I couldn't follow anything except what he said he was going to do it would be nice to have it cut clear concise in the steps on how to do it
I agree. Hard to follow for those who aren't tech savvy like me. I feel it's more of a trial and error thing to get the hang of. Hopefully it's workable in places like Communist Australia.
Thank Brax for the amazing solutions!
NIce follow-up video Rob on this subject! So interesting! 👍
Thank you for your dedication to security and privacy.
It is very strange that most people have no idea of the importance.
Now, how does find time to do these things and then what will the total cost be?
Maybe addressing these concerns can help?
Fascinating. It all just goes over my head or i'd do it, though it does please me that Rob's making the effort and knows what he's doing and is bound to help others who know what they're doing, so there's that.
Thanks for spreading this knowledge, every layer of privacy can be appreciated.
Looks like you set up your own Magic Jack Company.
My guy, top respect to you. For being fearless and passing on knowledge. Why don't you do a series of videos teaching us how to configure our phones, Android and Apple, to get max privacy. All the technical stuff I don't understand and as much I want to implement what you're preaching, I simply can't on my own. Thanks big dog!
Can you make a video in the electronic harrassment/gangstalking topic?
great work man, keep it up..
SIP is over the internet, so it can be wiretapped. You can use VPN, but that requires both callers to use VPN. What about man in the middle attack? That is still a problem, no?
Yes.
VoWIFI / WiFi calling via your cell network provider is SIP traffic transmitted within an IPSEC VPN (to your provider).
What was demonstrated here was SIP straight over the internet.
SIPS is the encrypted version of the protocol suitable for sending over the public internet, but doesn't appear to be supported by his service.
you should do a video on how to set up your own pbx
Interesting video thank you.
thanks for all these great videos brother
I ditched cell phones for over a year and a half. It was spectacular! But I've been forced to get one now b/c my Mom has bad memory problems and I have to be able to call emergency services if needed wherever. Damn.
They’ve created a super connected world that’s looks very much like the same relationship there is between a drug addict and his drug provider: too toxic!
Thanks Rob! But all of these terms are new to many & sometimes it’s hard to understand you, but the rest of the time we still don’t know what you’re referring to so would you please identify some of the words so that way it will make sense to us. So first teach us what the different abbreviations/words mean that you are using so we can follow you & then slow down & take your time! And thank you again!!! Blessings!
Thank you, All that is hidden will be revealed now.
Next week!. I'll get a phone from you! Ty! ❤
Good work and very good song
i have ur app... found the shop to buy the voip service BUT it say in USA only...so its of no use in europe or asia.??????..cause i travel a lot..
Excellent video. For 2fa you can use virtual number or no?
nice work
DOJ has joined the chat
Is this the method telemarketers are using to skirt the "Do Not Call" list, or spoofing to show legit caller id's and numbers?
Clever question?
Thanks
Tnx !
Great video. Thanks!
Is it possible to use this solution on a basic/feature phone running KaiOS while not on WiFi?
Unfortunately not since you need to run an app
Why do we even still use regular phone numbers/calling and SMS when we live in a time where internet is literally everywhere, and all of our devices are capable of communicating through it?
A couple of questions. 1. What makes this better than using Signal? 2. When you chose the phone number for the account could you have chosen any area? Ex: You live in Miami but you want a Chicago number. Thanks!
You can choose any area. Of course you can use something like Signal. But this is a solution you can give Grandma and Grandpa with a fixed landline SIP phone for example. It allows normal PSTN use while allowing the option for surveillance free communications. Extension to extension.
make a video on GNUnet Eco-System please .....!!
What about using signal application for phone and texts? I have heard that is very good option also.
Signal is not for PSTN and SMS. It's separate. Both parties have to be on Signal
Siginal isn't privateTucker said the government tapped his calls using the Siginal app I don't believe any service is really fool proof
Does VOIP support 911?
Would love to ditch the extra sim plan for the home phone, but don’t want to sacrifice safety. Especially if it’s just the kids at home.
Although we can make it support 911, it will require you to give your name and home address. So that doesn't seem to fit our goals here.
BTW all cell phones can dial 911 even without a SIM card. Just leave one around
I've dialed 911 from a VoIP service (Vonage). It works but was messy and I don't recommend it. I got connected to a call center that wasn't local and not part of the 911 service that I would have reached had I used a regular line or cell phone.
As Rob has already mentioned, mobile phones can reach 911 without a SIM card.
If you're concerned about an elderly or infirm person needing emergency access, get a traditional LAND LINE.
I fart and swear into my phone to that very surveillance everyday
Many websites are now not allowing VOIP numbers to be used for 2FA or other services. There are services which will tell a website if a phone number is a Land line, mobile phone or VOIP
Yes Facebook being #1. So why use it? But the important ones accept it. Google, Amazon, Paypal
thank you so where to get the special phones
My friend’s former employer wiretapped on his iPhone and androids phone. How to stopped them doing that. Any suggestions.
In a corporate network this is all standard. Don't be on the corporate network
He is not in that corporation anymore. He uses T-Mobile internet. And they even see what messages he sends to his friends. They even listen to him when he talks to someone. They also spy on his whats up messages. How that possible? Please let us know to resolve this problem.
SIP can totally be decoded in realtime so if not used in conjunction with SRTP basically useless against a determined actor.
The key though is not knowing who the actors are.
What are the main differences between Session app and a SiP device are they kind of the same? I understand SiP is for voice but what is the Session app, if not the similiar?
Session acts as a decentralized end 2 end encrypted messenger using random generated IDs you have to give to other Session users to connect. Can do text, images, other files & voice recordings. Can't do phone calls though.
Edit: Wait, I just opened mine & it looks like there is an option for voice calls now, it's in Beta. I'll have to look into it to learn about it though.
@RoyalMountedAnkleBiters I noticed that as well, thank you (:
✨✨💖thank you😃🙏🏼✨
Can your system be used in Australia?
Or Europe?
Can you send and receive pictures and videos this way?
Is that a real need?
I have a camera device. You decide to play with the big 4 or not.
Flooding the world with your photos or videos is IMHO an indicator of seeking for confirmation and in most cases no logical argument for a requirement.
@@thorbenkaufmann5682 i have a need for it

What are the rates if a call is to a PSTN in the US and other countries?
My service does not support international calling. It is PSTN US and Canada only. However sip to sip calling works anywhere.
@@robbraxmantech hi,are you considering to develop this to be available in other country's,Australia perhaps??,thank you for your educational content, most people/ companies are only interested in stealing all of our personal information to profit off,im very thankful to you for giving privacy control back to us
Does this also work for Germany?
Many apps don't allow or accept VOIP for 2-factor authentication. What is a good solution for this?
"Most" is not correct. The issues are a few REALLY BAD APPS like Zuckbook. That should warn you to the reality that they want to know you deeply. Google, Amazon, Paypal (the biggies) accept VOIP
Rob how do yiu feel about MySudo?
tied to the App stores
Just need to expand into Australia.
We can provide numbers there but at the moment no SMS service other than US/Canada.
Ok, the calls will be private if both parties use VoIP, but, since my friends don't, the calls with them will still be recorded, right?
Sounds about right 💯
Great video. Should try meshtastic.
What song is in the background?
He is a very talented accomplished musician probably one of his pieces
does this work in eu too?
yes
Many VOIP providers require setting up a so called "campaign" and approval for sending SMS. Is that also a requirement on your system?
No
@@robbraxmantech- So your subscribers don't need to go through the hassles of getting a "campaign" approved? If so, that's pretty neat.
What do you think of blockchain phones. Have you done any videos on it.
Block Chain phones!
How good is this Are the calls dropped for the $60 a year say like the burner app is it better than that is it more features better connection
Jami, jitsi
You can hide your side but the second you call someone else's provider you are tracked to the letter. So unless they have your exact system it's not hidden and recorded word for word. Lamens terms.
Hi Rob! I have tried to download your app, but GooglePlay Store says it is meant for older Android phones.
you can just use a browser.
Will this work in Canada?
US and Canada
Can I buy a Brax phone? I can't find it in your store.
We have other models of de-Googled phones. BraX2 is sold out.
I'm logged in but can't find where to purchase the virtual number?
Store
How can i help fight for privacy?
🤔 Can I set up this system with my associates in different countries? Africa, Asia, maybe Russia?
Yes.
QUESTION: FREE CALLS / WITH A BATTERY. Years back, people could place a large, strong battery over the Sim card on the back of the phone allowing the phone to pick up the Wi-Fi signals & make FREE CALLS bcz the frequencies are always going through the air! However, we do not have free use, because we agreed to sign contracts! I was wondering if something was done to prevent this or is it still doable? Once again, thank you for everything & best wishes & kind regards! Just curious!
Really?!
Are you though fearing for capital gains? or genuine?
It's on YT, privacy game lost.
In other words, still don't use the PSTN. I think it would be very easy for the nefarious to detect whether you're using a virtual number vs a raw PSTN one. It also won't work anymore when Big Brother comes to Brax and bullies him into sharing your info with them.
You will not use the PSTN at all so who knows this virtual number? It's an extension. I have no KYC
Now you tell me that satan isn't real...clearly the whole computer internet thing is it's baby
YOU CAN'T CHANGE THE WHEEL
Does this only work through Wi-Fi? Or can the American level of privacy be had using cell service to access the internet?
The lead in commercial telling you to invest in crypto before the world bank turns all money digital. WTF? Saying that bad things will occur if you are not ready!
Think of how much ponzi money a company like that could rake in from morons? Think of the tragedy when the dollar collapses, people you know will turn on you if they are hungry!
there was an earthquake and the house was burned down & destroyed.... so was my fone.
Lineage OS instead of google
Thank you. Is there a way to lmk where my kids are yet still have our family phones private? Thank you in advance.
There are tracking apps for that. But I couldn't tell you which ones are best
Thank you. Would you please send me some starter info or do a video on them and send me the link? Many Thanks!

Shuffle SIM cards 😅
Hello Rob, from a cave-woman.
Most SIP phone networks have been converted to VOIP
SIP is VOIP. You mean PBX is now mostly VOIP
I'm not sure what you mean by that statement.
Are you talking about my comment? The video defines SIP as a VOIP. Old PBX systems are proprietary hardware and not VOIP. New ones are VOIP (or SIP - same thing)
When will the app support creating new numbers that aren’t North American?
We can have numbers for international. We just do have SMS service
No I don’t won’t to do any thing 😆
111
What if you buy 2 or 3 phones and send yourself fun terrorism SMSs... relating to playing your video games? that will be cool if someone snooping made false assumptions
Don't make a joke about that. Someone did and got arrested and had to prove it was a joke. It was in fact a gaming reference. Didn't understand that someone is watching every SMS
:)
Isnt all calls including voip forced to be unencrypted and recorded by law?
Very good that they dont know who the actors are thou.
All traffic through the PSTN is tracked. But no one tracks extension to extension or SIP to SIP calling. It's just like calling an office extension call.
That's brilliant rob. Continue to be impressed by your abilitys.
Because of the way power management is done on Android you can miss unregistered incoming calls on some VOIP apps. The simple work around is to just tell people to let the call ring longer for direct SIP dialing.
The easy use case is just to forward calls and texts especially since 90% of the use is 2FA. Then you can use the VOIP app like Linphone only to dial out. So in this kind of use it is not necessary to rely on the SIP registration to be active.
I Was unsubscribed from your channel, unless this is a new channel. FYI
what do you do when you tell a "muslim" narcissist (as a muslim girl) to delete your info and not harass you or your dad or stalk you guys, and they retaliate by hiring what seems like "gang stalkers" (not a conspiracy theorist) and tells them all your sensitive info, pain, to strange men who follow you around with camera glasses and creepy looks. disgusting. this is also "punishment" for speaking out.
