Definitely remember working in Watermelons back in the 90s. The hardest work I ever done in my life! It took 3 small trucks to fill one semi trailer. Got paid $35 for the day. Made me appreciate everything and instilled unmatched work ethic in me.
Never done watermelons but I cut and housed tobacco, that is one hell of a job, loved it though. Gotta make sure you don't get the spear stuck in your arm when you cut and stack it, and if you fall off the rails in the tobacco barn you're lucky if you don't die or become crippled. Plus if it's wet and the juice gets in your eye it'll make your eye burn like hell and can give you nicotine poisoning! Fun times.
