Just had this thought. For me, a good actor isn't necessarily someone who can pull off a loud and dramatic performance (although that is, of course, impressive as well and does take a good actor to execute well) but rather someone who can do more "subtle" acting. And I think subtle performances often get so overlooked. Everyone is so focused on the big and obvious things or at least it seems like that to me sometimes. That's why my favorite actors have always been those adept at "eye acting" and expressing things through minute facial expressions, which is why I like Rowoon. There's always room for improvement, it doesn't matter if you're a rookie actor just starting out or Denzel Washington, and in fact, Rowoon is even better each project. But watching back his earlier dramas like this one, I realize that the ingredients for him to become one of the best have always been there. Let's take this scene, for example. You have Hyunseung visibly worried that something happened to Song Ah, him realizing that she's lying and putting on a brave face and that something did indeed happen, his expression softening as he says that something must have happened... Then his confusion at her sudden confession, the realization that yes, he heard right, trying to hold back his smile at the absurdity of her timing mixed with his happiness at having his feelings reciprocated... Anyway, I just really like studying the more subtle expressions of actors, I think those might be even harder to get right than the big dramatic scenes sometimes. But that's just my opinion :)

That's exactly why I love his shows he gives so much attention to little details and you can clearly see his expression changes in seconds remember the scene when Hyuenseung saw Songah after their breakup on the cross path that look on his face I can't describe in words he didn't said anything but his expression there was chef's kiss. And man I have no words to describe him in Destined with you and Matchmakers he has grown tremendously ❤
