  • Here is a sequence from the game on my non-overclocked RTX 3060TI, as it's too hot right now (I can usually push it to 1950MHz easily). The game is set to high settings and uses DLSS quality. I don't get 60 fps, but that doesn't bother me at all due to the graphical quality. I play on high, but having tested high, medium, and low settings, low appears to have very few differences compared to high. So, for people who only care about FPS, I recommend medium with DLSS Performance, which is equivalent to FSR Quality in terms of rendering. For those like me who enjoy pure graphical quality as long as it’s playable (35/40+ FPS), set it to high with DLSS quality. If you ever have FPS issues, DLSS balanced or performance are also very good options.
I wonder if a FRAME GEN mode will be added on Nexus, because with the frame gen mod (which I usually use on many games), I would have no trouble exceeding 70 FPS. We’ll see, I don’t understand why frame gen is absent anyway.
Regarding my graphic opinion, yes, the game is beautiful, but let's be realistic. When Alan Wake 2 came out, it was like "wow, never seen before," but in the end, yes it was beautiful, but it wasn't always "wow." When Ratchet & Clank came out, it was said to be groundbreaking, yet it runs very well on PC too. The same with Cyberpunk and the Matrix demo (which I tested with my 3060ti). In short, yes, Hellblade 2 is technically pretty with Nanite, but it's not always "wow." Just because it's photorealistic doesn't mean it's better. Horizon is artistically and even technically more impressive at times, so let's calm down.
