Motu Origins Evil Horde Playset REVIEW! Fright Zone + Slime Pit Combined!

- With all the fractions in the Motu Origins line having a playset but the Evil Horde, my good friend @outkastcustoms563 told me he could make it happen! We'll folks, he definitely delivered! Here's the Evil Horde Playset that combines both the fright zone and slime pit to make one amazing playset! Let's check this thing out while I give my thoughts. I love how this playset looks. As a kid it always bothered me that the Fright Zone and Slime Pit looked so different so I love how they got blended together here.
That’s got to the best idea I’ve seen for a horde scene combining two vintage sets, Mattel is asleep!
Honestly your staging takes these things to a whole new level. They're cool all on their own, but then you set up a meticulously detailed battle scene and it's completely transformed all over again! Great video!
Thanks brotha! When I look at my dioramas, I set it up in a way that it's eye candy to me lol. Like if I'm in a museum looking at art or something lol. Or like a comic book page.. they gotta always be doing something and there articulation is good enough to make alot of things happen. I've done a couple diorama tour videos where I set the whole line up. I should probably do another one soon 🤔

I always find it amazing how fans can come up with better playsets than what Mattel is willing or able to come up with. And I love the scenarios you come up with.
That is just incredible. I've had the Fright Zone since xmas of the year it came out, and while I played with it A LOT, it always felt lacking and two-dimensional compared to Grayskull and Snake Mountain. This makes it a whole world. And speaking of Two-. . .
I’ve had this idea in my mind for years. So me and Mr. home arcade decide to make a come alive for you guys to enjoy there’s still more to come.
😆 🤣 😂 I like what ya did right there 😏 😆 🤣 😂. Yeah I definitely agree with u about the 2 dimensional stuff. This gives it life in a sense and just doesn't feel like a large accessory like the slime pit did. N the fright zone by itself is small n basically a 1 figure prison with a hole on the other side lol. Together like this works soooo well.

Horde base is incredible. And the Zelda door opening sound took me back.
I definitely feel ya on that zelda music throwback lol. When I was editing that part of the video, I was trying to think which sound would sound best for a secret passage. The zelda one was one I'd never forget from playing it back on Nintendo.

What a great set! If you let me loose in your house I will disappear for days. Playing from room to room with all that awesome MOTU stash you build up over the years.
This is badass. Never thought of combining the two playsets. Mattel needs to make origins versions. Or maybe just copy this idea and combine them.
Now this is a dream PLAYSET! Not that Snakelair BS. Ohhh man Fright Zone and Slime Pit are must haves for Hordenuts like myself, but this shit....is just beyond cool. Dude I'm officially impressed! Congrats and enjoy!

Oh hell yeah! The Horde is a favorite of mine, had both the Fright Zone & Slime Pit when I was a young kid. Wish I still had mine from back then. That playset is magnificent!

This is by far the best set, I love the use of different colors showing the Horde expanding their operation over the years.

Good opportunity to use the Slime Pit as a chamber for the Mutagen Ooze. Playset looks phenomenal ! Horde Troopers laying the StompDown 😂

I love the set! If I would really have to nitpick I would make sure that everything is painted in the same/similar shade as the original playset, but that's about it! Chef's kiss!

That is awesome work. I always considered the Fight Zone to be an outpost on Eternia and the Slime Pit to be a torture chamber. My head canon was the doorway to Etheria was there so that's why they set up camp and why it looks different from Doom Tower which is on Etheria with the bulk of their resources.

Hi Mr. Home Arcade! Your Diorama scenes look great!! Love the Fright Zone combo. Look Amazing! My Horde figures are also homeless and sometimes crash at Snake Mountain lol
I really like this Fright Zone add-on playset. It's huge and the details like the Slime tank and the snake monster are really cool. The Fright Zone has always been a small playset but this additional diorama opens the door to many more possibilities for having fun, displaying many characters together and taking photos and videos. I always like the poses you choose for your characters and I know for a fact that it's not that easy to position them, due to the limited hip joints and precarious balance. I imagine it will have taken you more than an hour, but that's the fun of it 😉

Also liked your recent Hobby Lobby visit and custom tips, you really should make some stories that focus more on your Original custom figures and Characters, that would be cool.
