  • Ryan Joseph was paralyzed in a high school wrestling match. His parents, Kristin and Tom, chose Craig Hospital in Englewood, Colorado for their son’s rehabilitation.
The family arrived at Craig at the end of January 2018, tired, overwhelmed…hopeful. Ryan was still mending from three surgeries and was unable to walk, talk, swallow, eat or breathe independently. With the tremendous support of Craig’s unique Culture of Care, a commitment to treating the whole person through unique programs, Ryan thrived.
With assistance from Craig’s school program, as well as the Assistive Technology, Therapeutic Recreation, and the Teen Rehab programs, Ryan will soon be able to return home and go back to school with his peers.
