Great video, thank you! I have just bought the same one, wide width, but regular length. However, I am struggling to find a padded mat or even a foil mat to go underneath that is the same width. Do you have any advice, or one that you recommend?
Thanks 👍🏻, nice it won’t let you down iv done loads of camps with it all year round now and iv not been cold or had any punctures, I just use a 200x150 foil mat and fold it into the rough shape of whatever tent I’m using so it’s abit like a carpet I didn’t cut mine to size because I use different size tents … the foil mat is something I take on every single camp and it’s probably the most useful bit of kit I have . The description of the one I have is :HIDLIGHT Ground Mat Camping Aluminum Sleeping Foam Mat 200 X 150 cm / 6.56 X 4.9Ft (£15 the one with the blue bag ) on Amazon Check out some of my other videos and camps and I’ll more than likely be using this pad and foil combo 👍🏻
@@ROBOLOGY.wildcamping thank you! This is amazingly helpful and just the answer I was looking for. I’ll pick up the large foil mat and cut it to size. I mostly worry about puncturing the very expensive mat 🤣😅
@@jazclemmie no worries, iv not had a puncture yet 👌 i personally wouldn’t cut it down then if you get another tent that’s bigger u can still line the bedroom floor with it
@@ROBOLOGY.wildcamping cheers pal. Been looking at this pad for a while. What sort of temps can it go down to? Getting a mixed bag from other people saying it's not really 4.2 r-value even though it's ASTM tested...
@@GrizzlyGaz well iv used it on every camp iv done since buying it and I haven’t been cold but the weather hasn’t been anything crazy the lowest iv had it is -6
@@ROBOLOGY.wildcamping just make sure you get the version with the light. I got the version without the light not knowing there were multiple versions...
Kudos the only person that shows deflating and packing away
Btw this made me watch a lot of your stuff hahaha good job man! Your views and areas are beautiful!
Thanks for the demo! I was trying to compare the regular vs regular wide.
No problem mate , iv used it loads now and it’s great 👍🏻
Thanks! I'm going to get one of these right now. I have an uberlite and Xtherm Max and I think this will be way more comfortable.
Cool 🙂 iv used it twice now mate and it’s spot on 👍🏻
I have the 78 x 30 q core deluxe. Weighs 2 lbs. but I'm a big guy and the weight is well worth it for me.
I have the same sleep pad. I did a video revival when I got mine but I have not been out with it yet. Can’t wait.
It’s a great pad iv used it quite afew times now , had it down to minus 4 last weekend with just a foil mat under it
Looks interesting mate 👍.
I would love the solo
How many tents have you got know ??
Atb Graham
Yeah iv had my eye on it for years , when that comes I’ll just have 2 mate

@@ROBOLOGY.wildcamping brilliant! Is that with or without anything underneath it? Eg a foam mat.
@@GrizzlyGaz the night it was -6 I that a foil sheet underneath it
is it noisy? like bag of chips sounds?
No it’s no where near as bad as some there is obviously abit of a crinkle but it’s not bad at all
Rob,get rid of the silly pump sack man!

What's your height?
5.8
@@ROBOLOGY.wildcamping is your size mattress gonna be good for 182cm guy?
@@danieldominiak647 well it’s 183 cm so that would be cutting it fine , there is a long version at 198cm long but only 51cm wide
