I want to tell you all that this 2016 Pete's Dragon movie is so magnificent, lovely, heart-warming and so touching that it almost always makes me cry or just become sensitive.
A little boy named Pete loses his parents but the kind and tame dragon takes him into his care, raising him and Pete names him Elliot.
Six years later, the little sweet girl Natalie and the really lovely and warm-hearted ranger Grace find the boy and later they take the boy to their family.
It’s so lovely and touchingly moving, whether it’s the film’s more sophisticated picture technique, sound, there are fewer songs, or the story itself and the film’s harsher action, or just the lovelyness of the characters or all that, this Pete's Dragon is a thousand times finer and much, much better than the original 1977 version
Redford just runs away with the script. Love it.
