    It’s normal to put Teflon tape on the valve cover bung that connect to an fittings. Correct ? Thank you!

      It's best if you can get them to seal without the use of tape! However PTFE tape can be a life saver if you can't quite get a perfect seal. Just make sure none goes into the oil system!!
