    Man, that car demonstrates why I prefer surfing these days. With your Teutonic organisation you nailed that packing. With my chaotic British slovenliness I would have had a stray mast extension through the back of my skull for sure when that lorry pulled out.

    I always tie everything to the back of my vehicle to prevent just that from happening. A loose mast can easily take out a windshield.

      @Nico_GER7  Před 3 lety +1

      Absolutely, everything was tied down with straps. If it hadn't been it would've gone a lot worse. I had to break so hard, which somehow made the boom come loose..

    Aua, first Rytis, now you. 😱
    But the same with Rytis, fu.. for the money and time for repair, nothing happened to you. This is the most important thing.
    But what is the longest board inside the Vito?
    I' m looking for a new car too. With enough space inside for the stuff. 😇
    And next time turn the boom, clew first in the car. So on the top the narrow sides to the front. Then it slips into the belt and not out.
    Sorry, kann es gerade in englisch nicht so gut erklären.
    Soll also heißen, daß wenn die schmalen Seiten vorne sind, ist dort auch der Gurt kürzer, so daß beim durchrutschen der größeren Seite die Spannung auf dem Gurt höher wird und damit die Reibung höher ist.
    Achja, falls Du einen Zollstock greifbar haben solltest, würde ich mich über die Längenangabe Laderaum bis zum Fahrersitz freuen. 😇

    Why is the waveboard not pixeled? But it looks good, no more low rockered stubnose, but instead a pointy nose with noseflip, like a REAL NORMAL surfboard, Starboard finally seems to get it right. And tail is short, stance really back, looks also like a proper surfboard, finally. GET US A WAVEBOARD LIKE A NORMAL SURFBOARD.

    I really enjoy Ur vids. But a I need to point out, that I really do not enjoy that you are filming and driving at the same time. Not talking about legal standpoint, just think about you as a role Model for young youtubers. Picture your almost crash while setting up the camera... could have gone worse... 😞

    Like. But as you are a top windsurfer I'm surprised you're satisfied with the 'look at me I'm really cool,' music, which to me is vomit-inducing. Better silence.
    If you want to see what I mean I challenge you to play this music through waterproof earphones/waterproof ipod or something while you are actually windsurfing. I believe you'll find the music totally out of place, total bullshit.
    This music is ok for apres-ski, to raise the mood. Yes, play it as you drive your van home and rerun in your mind the great moves you made on the water. Somehow then you can use this sort of music suitably, as long as it's clear the context is re-living your best moves after the event.
    But to repeat, when actually on the water - and that's what we the viewers are watching, it's no replay for us, we're watching for the first time - no fake emotions bourne on out of place music please.

    • @Nico_GER7
      @Nico_GER7  Před 3 lety +6

      Hi Adrian, completely disagree with you.
      First off, it's the kind of music I would listen to before my session to get hyped up, certainly not afterwards (way too hectic). I also wouldn't consider it as "look at me I'm really cool" music. Not sure what genre that is anyway 😄.
      Aynhow, music in videos is supposed to evoke certain emotions and support the footage, and with that I'm pretty happy in this one. But you can't always hit everyone's taste. 🤙

    • @adrianwells769
      @adrianwells769 Před 3 lety

      @@Nico_GER7 ok. I'll add one more thing. You say 'music is supposed to evoke certain emotions and support the footage.' My observation of music is that it never plays a supporting role. As soon as you introduce a note of music, the music takes over completely and asserts what the feeling is. No medium can resist. Put music against a great painting, it will be the music that decides what you feel about the painting. There's no fighting it. So that's the trouble with your music. Yes, it evokes certain emotions, but in doing so it carries away the actual authentic emotions of windsurfing. That's why I argue for youtubers to remove from themselves all the difficulty of finding the right music and being brave enough, and having enough belief in the discrimination of the audience, to pick silence.
