I swear my 22 year old ass never gets tired of the 12 dancing princesses theme. EVER. The movie hit me so hard as a little girl and this older version of that little girl still holds this movie and this song so close. I live for this magical piece of music😭

My favorite classical piece is Dvrovak’s Symphony No 9 in Rapunzel
When the brush changed?
Well the whole symphony is in the movie. Mov 4 is in the scene where Wilhem’s guards attack Frederick’s guards and also when Wilhem enters the palace ballroom. Little pieces of the symphony in other scenes are from the 1st mov. If you search up dvrovaks symphony 9 and listen to the beginning like 5 min you’ll hear it.

I still come back every year to listen to the music that brings serenity. It’s nice rejoicing in childhood nostalgia. Also, thanks to Barbie, I’m in love with classical music.

Sunday 8pm, the movies used to come. My favourite was the cloud castle and I used watch that whenever we travel. Swan lake and Rapunzel came at a close second. Oh and 12 dancing princesses 😭❤️❤️❤️

reminds me of the time i used to copy barbie's dancing calling it 'barbie dance' (now i know it's called ballet) and my parents used to tease me that i have become a barbie now and they have to bring me a prince now.... nostalgic everything was just so good and simple back then too much has changed as the years went by and i just wish to be that 3-5 year old kid again 😭
