It's Voltes "Five" Dammit, lol..
Nice piece man, I remember those in them big glass display cases.. Brings back memories as a child. 😀
@SMConsortium Glad you liked it!
Excellent review indeed. How do you manage to withdraw the shoulders-arms from the torso, once both have been inserted together. I have not found reviews explaining how to separate them from each other. Thx 🤗
Certainly brought back memories.
I never got to own this when I was a kid. Only the smaller one that can be converted into a tank. I saw one back in college for sale for roughly 100 dollars back in 1989 but didn't have the dough to buy it. I got me the Soc gx31 around 6 yrs ago. But I always wanted this one too. Thanks for showing it, man.
noel patio Your welcome!
I used to have the smaller Voltes V when I was young, I got hooked on Voltes V when I was vacationing in Hong Kong. Thanks for uploading this extremely interesting video!
Your welcome!
badgrendels you're*
omg.. thank you. when I was a kid my neighbour owned this toy and we used to play this till now I am longing to have this kind of toy. lucky you sir.
+Javen24 Thanks! I spent hours on Ebay looking for it.
@Generalsplatton glad you liked it!
Lucky man, I have a bandai and it's a safe queen but once, hopefully, got this one, the bandai will be my toy, the best robot of the 80's in my country, nice video and congratulations!
Wow! Talk about blast from the past!
Its cool and all But what I'm interested in is the camera set up that you have there. I want to start displaying my model building on CZcams and would like to know how you got this video set up.
@boxbuyer2008 I actually get asked this a lot, so in the next three or four weeks, I will do a video on it. But until then: I am using a Sony Handicam HDR-CX150. For video editing I am using Correl Videostudio X4.
@pipesgt No worries, I didn't mean to upload a 3D version in the first place!
Borutesu Faibu❤
That was what I thought too, and one day I came across it on Ebay for pretty cheap. So just keep your eyes open you never know what you will find.
I really like the video that you make.. As a kid I never had the chance to own the classic Voltes V, now I have the bandai version but its much smaller than that, just wondering how much did you pay for it.Thanx again
@iscozky Thank you. I have had this out of the box only two times. Once when I got her, and the second time for this video.
@AmaGiShokan I was very lucky to find it for the price I did. I almost bought that Bandi version, but I am much happier with this one.
Any suggestion on where I can sell my combattra even though it doesn't have the accessories?
The only thing I can tell you is Ebay.
How much did you get this for?
Cool!
Owned this when I was kid around that original era yeah I'm such a lucky kid to own such an elegant toy at age 10 hehe...I still have it and it's heavily weathered but I love every moment I played this toy especially the cruiser 1 and the panzer.
+alencore wasn't that lucky, and that is why I have tracked it and others down.
you know, You should see the TV series, this Voltes V, is mecha Drama Anime, it very Touching drama make you sweat, pure good Story about friendship, Family and love, all characters is has a story , and very very Touching in the end , that's why this Voltes V series to kid like me back in the early 80's is remaining, always love it long lasting , Let's Volt In !
I have Voltes V although its bandai version, what you've got is a Classic!
I still have it.
Thanks mate. The 3D was doing my head in. lol

You should watch its anime series so you could understand more about its volt machines names and weapons.
You combined Voltes V the wrong way... It should be in 1-2-3-4-5 sequence.
Height pls?
@MrVoltron28 Thank you. I wanted one of these as a kid, and just decided one day I wanted one. I got it on Ebay for $500 US.

It's Voltes V as in number five not as in letter V.
@primativemodelling Yeah it is better!!
You have a cool volutes v there....

Wala silang pake
Its Voltes 5 uncle! Omg 😅😅😅
V is the Roman numeral for the number 5. So it is Voltes 5.
It is not pronounced as "V" as in V. Should be said as Five, (5).
Hey I don't mean to offend u in anyway but u really don't seem to know much about Voltes V....
