As a kid I never wanted to go on tower of terror and I seriously regret not going
Migraine queen right here! Ibuprofen only works if I take it early and I get extremely sick too. Try eating an apple, put an ice pack on the back of your neck/brain stem area while taking a hot shower with lavender and peppermint oil. My OB recommended it and was literally a life saver during my pregnancies! I hope it helps you too!
Megan Kirk gosh I’m so sorry you suffer from them too. I’ll take night quill to knock me out and get in that deep sleep. I wish the over the counter meds worked 😭 I will look into getting the oils tho! Thank you!
Poor Frank! I can tell you there are few things worse than getting sick on your birthday. But I can't imagine being sick on your birthday at Disney World! Hope you both pulled through ok.

What motion sickness meds did Frank take for the cruise? Do you think that was the cause of his illness? I remember you taking the children to the park without him after the cruise when he wasn't feeling well. Ginger is also a natural remedy for motion sickness.
Deniz Algazi It was the Scopolamine patch. We do think it was the patch that caused him to be sick... especially the blurred vision. That was scary but it was one of the severe side effects to it. :(
Oh no! So sorry you both were feeling 🤢. Relative to Smuggler’s Run, it is jerky but I think it was x1000 for you guys with one of the pilots being so young... and the left pilot controls the left/right. The experience really is dependent on the skills of the pilots. I wouldn’t want to deny a kid the opportunity to pilot... but not sure I’d want to be a crew member on that flight either.

I’m sorry you guys didn’t feel well! When we were there this past May, we all caught a stomach bug. That was not fun at all. But I’m also surprised that was the first time it happened in all our trips!

Wow.... That ride does look rough- even watching it on the computer screen was tricky in some parts. I hope Frank is feeling better.... motion sickness is no joke and it's not fun at all. He's a trooper though for wanting to try the new ride. How do you think that the ride affected his already nauseous state? How did Max do? I really want to try these new rides Disney is putting out, but I'm afraid that with the increased inclusion of screens and simulated motion, many of them will become one-and-dones or even no-gos for me. Funnily enough, though, i can do all kinds of coasters (except Rockin' which I don't want to do anyway) and even Tower of Terror- but I think that's cuz they are "realtime motion". So there will hopefully always be that!
Nimeariel it was pretty intense! It made his nausea even worse! I felt so bad because I knew he wasn’t feeling good but he wanted to experience it. Max did fine on it! I keep checking on him after each ride.

Dang! I didn’t realize how jerky that ride looks! Hopefully I won’t get sick from it, I always get sick from Star Tours.

I suffer with migraines also and the only thing that helps is excedrin migraine!! Otherwise I m down for the count.
