Hi! id like to ask, how do you put in a shipping charge of weight and the country in which it is going to? Because to send a 5kg package to the UK is going to cost differently to send the same exact product to the US. So with that, how do you integrate the 2 into the plugin if possible?

Hi Darrel, your videos are helpful. I am looking for a shipping option for multi-vendor woocommerce site. Flat Shipping will be auto determined based on Vendor's location x Customer's location. For example - a NY customer ordering from a NY based vendor will be Free Shipping or $ (whatever specified Flat rate). But a TX based customer ordering from that NY based vendor will get different shipping rate (higher of course). Or that NY based customer ordering from a WA based vendor will get different rate (higher usually because of distance).
I know it would be easy to set this rate if it is a single ecommerce site. But for multi vendor, I can't find a way.
Is it possible to setup this scenario...
We sell a product that cost £10 to ship, so if the customer orders 4 products its £40 to ship,. but we want to put a cap on it, so once you buy 5 or more you only pay up to 5 shipping costs. So if you bought say 9 you only pay £50 etc?
how do you assign this to different vendors ? which mean that different vendors charge different rate per item and also charge different rate to different zones

I went to plugins and searched for table rate and select active but I can't find it on the toolbar or installed plugins and when I go back to the search the plugin "active" is greyed out. why would this occur?

With the bare bones Woocommerce shipping will not work with in more than one zone.

you can't do that type of calculation with this plugin, but you can with a free plugin called "Woocommerce Weight Based Shipping". I configured it so for products below 4kg, shipping costs $39.95, but for every half kilo above 4kg, price is $39.95 + $2.50 per kg.

yeah you can do * Per extra item, there is a formula, if you want something like that they have documentation on their website for custom shipping

I sent an message to support, hopefully I get the formula :) This plugin will be «THE PLUGIN» for all print om demand customers of Printedmint.com (and others) when having a woocommerce shop :) Printful.com already have a plugin that takes care of shipping. But printed mint do not and they have other products / other colors and a pretty packaging. I will spread the word about this site. Maybe a tutorial for this will be on you channel soon??? Targeting all the mom bosses who sell gorgeous tshirts and coffee mugs :)

I had big hopes for this video, but like all advanced shipping videos, its extremely confusing. Like, Yutube are in desparate need of a slow, detailed, shipping info and methods. Im trying to dropship from the USA to SoutAfrica, mulitple vendors and diff products. But shipping remains a massive bitch. Plus, woocommerce plugins are way overpriced and keeps African out of the game. The only solution is really detailed education. This video is one of the best though, but still, at about 5 minutes we have touched so many aspect that all you end up hearing is $100, $500, $60. The struggle is real man. Thanx anyway.
