Colorful Colorado is an irreducibly beautiful state that is best known for its majestic landscapes. While the Rocky Mountains and the high desert are two of the state's biggest tourism draws, Colorado's cities are also very popular with out-of-state visitors. Boulder, Denver, and Colorado Springs tend to be the Colorado cities that get the most attention, but Aurora, the state’s third biggest city, is a town that is both vibrant and brimming with energy and charm. It’s a destination that is filled with dozens of one-of-a-kind attractions and unique activities.
Considered to be the Gateway to the Rockies, visitors to Aurora can expect to enjoy laid-back adventures and exciting day trips on their visit. Located near Denver in Arapahoe County, Aurora is a city that is famous for its artistic culture, a wide range of outdoor recreational activities, and warm and inviting mountain town vibe.
Aurora is only about a twenty-minute drive west of the Mile High City, Denver, making it the perfect place to kick back and enjoy the serene landscapes that surround the city.
