Great video! What is the height of the machine? The website does not say. I just wonder because i want to put on wheels and store in a smaller area in my shop
I bought one of these with the balancer on eBay for just under 3K with freight, residential delivery charge and tax. I was very disappointed that after all that money, The machine needs to be assembled. I believe it should have come ready to use like my last machine did. I also put wheels on mine as in the video, Makes it easy to push it out of the way when not in use. So far, machine works ok.
You can get them at lowes. I wish I could post som pictures but they have two sizes you can use. I used the bigger one. Here’s the model number for the small one, 0235514, the bigger one is 0235528, one is 2” the other is 3”. Hope this helps. Pass it on
Interesting all of the older 988 ,950 tire machines rotate the wheel clockwise and the bead breaker was on the right side. wonder why they reversed everything?-
@@ericfusa Thanks didn't know the vids could be reversed image. Of the affordable tire machines- that 988 looks like the most versatile especially for run flats and low profile tires. It also looks to handle larger 4x4 tires well to.
Great review, I’m planning on getting one for my small shop 👍🏾👍🏾thanks!!
Great job dude. Very informative and no BS. ;-)
Great review keep up the good work.👍
Good video Eric!
What wheels did you put on your machine? Were did you get them?
How much weight do they hold? What size are they and do they lock?
How about the balancer? Can you review it also?
I just got one of these and would love it if you could go through the pneumatic connections. The manual is lack luster.

Red dot to valve if present. Apparently were supposed to ignore the yellow dot now.

Its the camera
Any problems with the machine on wheels?
Not yet...still works fine
What size compressor do you need to run this? 80 Gal?
I run mine on a 60 gallon compressor.

Yes, the machines are still working well
First time I’ve ever seen the bead breaker on the left side of machine????
He is using the front facing camera so it's just mirroring the image it's on the right
How about one on the assembly of the 988? The manual is HORRIBLE!!!

The video is mirrored. That’s why you see it on the wrong side. You can notice it by the wiring on the machine.
True. sorry bout that. I didnt know how to fix it.. I'm working on another one.

Bit weird everything being on The left must be a left handed machine
It's a mirror image. It's a normal machine.
No it's not
Don't record in portrait. Use landscape yah know wide-screen. That's the proper format.
