I’m grateful for those hardworking humans that bring seaweed to us. It’s so delicious and addicting to eat, especially roasted seaweed sprinkled with a tint of salt. Perfect. Thank you for working hard just to let us eat the seaweed. They deserve a 🏆.

These ain't that cheap. It's quite a expensive.
It isn't just a snack in Korea. It is one of the most-eaten side dishes here. You can finish a bowl of steamed rice with pieces of seaweed which are salted and roasted with sesame oil.
Yeah, it's not just a "snack", but a legit part of the meal.

My first times eating roasted seaweed, didn't like it. But after getting used to it, absolutely love it. I prefer the plain ones with a touch of salt, and the wasabi flavored.

These are highly addictive snacks. Once you start, you won't stop. I love the teriyaki flavour. My son does too. He doesn't eat his vegetables but he eats seaweed because it is seasoned well and crispy. He is a picky eater and he loves seaweed snacks. I bought them at the supermarket, all types of brands and shapes. The cheapest ones are these types, 10pcs/slices in 1 pack and grouped by 5 packs per sale. It cost me about less than $2 for 5 packs. It's reasonably priced and it's really yummy. 😋

I am Mexican and this are sooo delicious that my whole family loves it. And if you are Mexican you know how the Hispanic families can be so hard to convince to try something new and they love it 🥰
Out of all groups, my Mexican friends were the most open minded to Asian food. It helps that we eat a lot of similar things (rice, zapote, etc)

Yo, I just wanted to share what I learned in Biology class last week: seaweed is an alga :)
I thought it was a plant- turns out I was mistaken.
yeah it may not be a plant, but it photosynthesizes too

I don’t understand how a company like this can work directly with the ocean, and make a product that doesn’t use biodegradable packaging.
Sushi has to be packaged in a completely airtight container. Biodegradable packaging (I assume you're picturing cardboard or some kind of paper) is not airtight and by the way it also kills way more trees than plastic packaging does.
You cant save the earth from the armchair by making stupid comments
@@ifyouloveChristyouwillobeyhim I concede that they have no choice but to use airtight packaging, but using paper instead of plastic was never about "saving trees". It's about biodegradability. As in, when all is said and done, the material will naturally deteriorate and return to the earth. Plastic doesn't deteriorate, ever. That's why recycling is so important. Once we use up all the plastic we can, that's it. No more plastic.
because seaweed has fats and fat soluble vitamins like vitamin K. Fats can get degraded by sun and air exposure, while dried stuffs must be airtight to prevent moisture. Hence it must be protected by metal and plastic packaging for longetivity
If they used biodegradable packaging the shelf life would go from a year to a week. Yeah no thanks.

One pouch is one serving for one person
I buy the 50 sheets for 18 dollars
My local supermarket sells 10 packs of them and each have 10 sheets (they put 10 packs , or pouches in a plastic bag thingy and wrap it up as one) , so the total is 100 sheets, the price was around $5-$10 at most I think, good deal! Have been buying them ever since I was a child lol

@@aal3x4 Yup, can cause problems with the kidneys and thyroid gland because of all the iodine, sodium and potassium.
They taste amazing when fresh, but when left out for about an hour you’re left with a sight mess, but I mean who can go an hour without finishing this mine are gone within a few seconds
I had this when stationed in the beautiful country of Korea years ago, at that point people had just home made type did it. But I am so addicted to these things and this brand. It's delicious. Mind over matter and it's like youre eating a small bag of chips. Fantastic product. Thank you :)

Memest not really but okay, yeah they’re great as snacks and side dishes. They don’t eat the ones on the beach though. You can get it raw or roasted. It’s very flavorful, you can get it at a lot of places and it’s just great.

The type of seaweed I eat was cheap. It was roasted.
It tastes supremely good, and I highly suggest you try some.
