This song saved my Bachelor's degree! A few months ago I was very close to giving up on my thesis, and even though I didn't even see the point in finishing anymore, this song somehow got me to finish the damn thing anyway. I graduated a few weeks ago, so thank you Ben Folds Five =D
I am working on my doctorate...in the last few courses before my QUALS...and it just “got real.” This song came to me this morning...it has really encouraged me.

From what I understand Ben plays by ear. I feel comfortable saying this as no one knows me on this platform or where I am, but my 10 year old son can play by ear, amazingly well. As of now, my grandmother (she has a baby-grand Schomaker i learned on) and I are the only people who know. My son's mother doesn't even know. Due to my extremely high IQ, I was tested and prodded from age 6 until... Well, the NSA still tests me regularly... And I don't want him to have a similar experience, so I am going to keep his talent private. Extremely.
I messed around and played some simple John Philip Souza songs and he laughed and told me how many keys I hit and played them back perfectly. I said "ok tough guy, try this...", and put on a J.S. Bach record (Goldberg Variations BMW 988) and had him listen, he did, then asked to listen again, so I obliged. He then played key for key the 5-10 minute section I played for him. My jaw is still on the floor.... He then did the same thing with Chopin Nocturnes. Should I let him loose on the world, or hone his skill on my own and let him have a somewhat normal childhood...? No worries, I don't expect you to answer my dilemma, I am merely asking myself a question. The answer is obvious; Let a lying dog sleep...

Fraggles!!! Also it's so awesome to see new versions of the classic rock sets! Bring the Fraggles back like THIS in a movie! No CGI, no celebrities, no overuse of 'outer space' scenes. Fraggle Rock was one of the best kids show ever. It's writing, performances and design are insanely good. So much better than crap nowadays. Also Karen Prell and Dave Goelz are amazing for performing their characters again! :)

I never watched it as a late teen when it was on. But now at age 57 I'm watching through every single episode. Love it! I love imitating the voices of Pa & Junior Gorg and Uncle Traveling Matt, lol.

I'm age 11 and Ben folds has been my inspiration since I heard his first sing. There's something about him that is just astonishing. Anyone with this much talent should get as much attention as selena gomez. It's completely amazing how he can play the piano and sing like this. When I grow up I will be just like him. In fact, my mom was gonna take me to a Ben folds concert near my home but you had to be 18+ due to language and alcohol D: But I will continue to always be inspired by Ben and keep listening to his music my whole life :D

That's literally how it happened; Chris Hardwick was talking with the Henson Company about some possible collaborations, and they said, "Well, you know, the Fraggles are having an anniversary next year; why not put them in something?" Chris's repsonse was, "THAT'S AN OPTION??"
Maybe it's just me, but Ben's piano here really sounds like a banjo in disguise :)

Yep. The "Fwaggles" - as Junior Gorg would've put it (rip Richard Hunt [and original Gobo Fraggle/Majory/Pa Gorg performer Jerry Nelson, head writer Jerry Juhl, agent Bernie, and Muppet creators Jim and Jane Henson]) - still got it.
Watching Mokey headbang was hard to watch as I don't think that suits her personality.

Oh my God this song is amazing. I’ve always loved Ben Folds but this song just sparked a whole new level of respect for him. I’ve watched Fraggle Rock since I was a wee lad, and seeing two of my favorite things come together like this was perfect. And the ending theme song was so perfect.

Ben Folds is amazing, very under rated, in the mainstream at least.
I've compared him more than a few times to Mozart. Not only is he a supremely talented performer and lyricist, but a master composer who just doesn't give a fuck about the repressed, homogenized, unimaginative expectations of mainstream schmucks. It feels like a gift every time I listen.

I'm several albums behind so I heard this song for the first time live at the show in Philly last night. Ben made me feel feels several times that night, but this song had me cheering at "I used to not like you but now I think you're okay." Thank you Ben Folds Five!

Watching this again, I've gotta say there's a difference in the performing styles of each of the Fraggles. You can tell that Karen Prell and Dave Goelz were the oens performing Red and Boober because they're so much more animated, like they have more control over the Muppets on their hands. Though at this point John Tartaglia had some control and idea over Gobo, it's not quite on the same level. It's up there, though. The ones performing Wembley and Mokey, Mokey in particular, don't quite have the same energy, almost looking kind of constrained by the Muppet.
