I'm hosting a bake sale for charity this weekend so lots of baking for that!!
Yes your chocolate loaf cake
Yes
Recipe
45g melted butter or 3 tbsp
100g granulated sugar or 8 tbsp
40g flour( heat treated) or 5 tbsp
20g cocoa powder or 3 tbsp
1 large egg(lightly beaten)
Divide into 2 ramekins
Microwave for 1 min

Heat treated flour is when flour is put into a oven or a microwave for a couple of seconds to get all the bacteria off of the flower which then makes it easier to bake in a microwave if you put a normal flower it’s guaranteed that your cake will turn out raw.
Can be done at 450/220 in the oven for 5 min

I tried this and omg it was delicious like I have never in my life made a cake so delicious, I’m not even joking like all the cakes I have ever made are always dry or hard but this was actually so good
The only thing stopping me from making this is my laziness

I tried it and it came out so good. I added some extra ingredients like baking powder and bit of vinegar to reduce the smell of egg. It was one of the best chocolate cake I have had. I recommend everyone to try this out. If a person like me who failed miserably number of times baking a cake can make this. Anybody can make this.

Hey! one thing i'd like to add, this was a awesond recipe, but if you want a ACTUAL fluffy maybe not so gooey cake, add some baking powder, and it wont turn to a mess! just dont leave it in the microwave for too long!
Just made this as a little treat for me and my fiancé and it's YUMMY! We just bought our first house, so I don't mind the extra calories as a celebration. 😋

Hey fitwaffle I was wondering if on some vids you could put the ingredients in CUPS bit grams like in the comments or something sorry it’s just I only know how to bake in cups!!
try and find a conversion table online, there will definitely be one because lots of recipes are in different measurements
Ramekins are basically round small cups or bowls
She uses grams bc she's British. I personally find it nice to finally have British recipes so that I don't have to convert. No hate tho just my opinion ❤

i tried this and it was sooo good! the bottom was very liquidy in a chocolate sauce way while the top was welldone so overall it was perfect! for the first time i actually struggled with eating it completely...

If the flour isn’t heat treated put it in the microwave for 2 minutes but check on it so it doesn’t over flow

Hi um I just wanted to say I didi everything accordingly to what she said except doing it for 1 min because I tried this 2 times before and it came out raw it was nothing like the video I've tried it now it's a lil better because I added unsalted butter and milk and oil too and microwaved it for 40 secs only so yeah

i tried this and it was lovely. maybe microwave it just a little bit longer if you don’t want it super runny .. there was a lot of chocolate liquid in the mug. Overall though , this was amazing and definitely one of the best mug cakes i have made
