Awesome video guys Awesome shooting as well 👍 its alway fun to have a little competition with your son or family members....i do thr same here at home thanks for sharing guys be safe guys
Good video my friend! But in my opinion the Panthera is huge and a Maverick, Impact M3 or a Wildcat MKIII Sniper does the same thing or better with less weapon volume! congratulations for the video. Best regards from Portugal.
Yes the Panthera is a very long gun in 700mm configuration. But I think we got so used to all the bull pup style rifles like you mention that a normal rifle where the barrel starts from the action looks weird 😉 I also have a crown which is very long with a 700mm barrel so it was not a big shock for me and I am a big fan of the Panthera although I think 500 600mm barrel is the sweet spot .
I don’t own this Airgun but if I did it would be for hunting and kept as light as possible ! As strictly a bench gun , I shoot the Skout Epoch ! I am reverting my Impact MKII from a bench gun back to its basic form and use it strictly for hunting ! Glad to see a father & son bonding ! 👍
Love to see you guys out there enjoying air gunning. This is what we call "herinneringen maken". I would like to see you smack the Theos on the Leshiy 2 and shoot 175 with it👍
Thx 👊 herinneringen voor een live time 😉 ! Wil de Theos wel op de L2 zetten maar met de 350mm loop op 175m met de L2 😬 daar gaat volk naar komen kijken 🤣 maar dat is misschien goed voor YT
I can't wait till mine gets here !!!! it is the Express Dynamic 600 mm .25 it was about the only one left, But I am going to turn it into the compact with 380 mm barrel or the 500 with the folding Ar stock! Hey do you think you can fit the grs on it and make it a king or do you have to specifically buy the King??
Thx for the support, I don’t adjusting at distance as I have my zero set at a certain distance and if I get left or right deviation because of wind I just like to hold for it as when I go back to my zero I know it’s spot on
Super video as allways! Nice to see hitting both all the targets. The Panthera in combination with the Theos performs very well. I ' am curious, if you had to choose between the Panthera and the Impact mk3, which do you prefer most? Or is this more a question of comparing Apples with Pears? Keep on the good work👍
Not really comparing apples with pears . They are different systems with the impact having some extra tuning options but for me personally I like the comfort of a full rifle like the Panthera more then the bull pup style of the impact . I am planning to build a Panthera bench rifle and see if it can equal or beat my Impact 30cal
@@AirbuksThanks for your reply. I'm curious about the results of your bench rifle when it's ready to go. I want to make my apologies for asking too many questions (see Impact M3 SPK), I find it hard to stop when I get too enthusiastic ☹, so sorry about that...
Safe to say you that thing dialed in! Lots of vids on 22 cal. Panthera/dynamics but very few in 25 cal. Is it an ammo issue? Is the 22 ballistics that much better to make most people shoot the 22 cal?
These days ammo choices in 25 cal is already better then a few years ago but still not as big as slugs in 22 cal . I think the main reason why most people have the Panthera in 22cal is because it was aimed for the PRS an NRL22 competition shooting the 34-40gr slug well over 1000fps . Don’t think it’s because of the BC advantage or not . With the dynamic and the bigger bottle at the back you see more people choosing for the 30cal . For me the 25cal in pellets is a great choice and would still advise it to beginners but 25cal and slugs is a other story, for me the most difficult one to get shooting accurately
@@Airbuks that explains why I have had mediocre results at best with 25 cal slugs. I pretty much gave up on testing them. I love shooting pellets (33.95) out of the m3, very accurate! I bought a wildcat mk3 bt in 30 cal right before the panthera/dynamic came out…..🤬 It shoots slugs ok but I would rather have had the dynamic for a slug gun. Thanks for your reply
This Panthera is a great bench gun and very accurate. In the meantime I’m staying with my LCS and Crown. I want it but “BIDENOMICS” are preventing a lot of us from getting it.😉
Hi, hope you're keeping well. Thank you very much for the video which was very interesting and great to see you're getting your son involved. Could you please give me the settings for your Panthera (reg. pressures, power wheel settings, etc.). Also, I would be keen to hear your choice bewteen a Panthera against a Dynamic? Both with the same barrell length (600mm). I would be using it mainly for casual target shooting but also for very occasional hunting for ground vermin (too powerful to shoot into trees). Look forward to hearing from you.
Thx for the support. The Panthera and dynamic are basically the same gun as the action and barrel goes . The biggest difference is just the air supply where the dynamic still has the same sleek look but with a bigger bottle at the back . Specially when shooting heavy slugs this is beneficial. There are also bottle adapters for the Panthera to get more air onboard. Bottom line it’s what you prefer for you looks and needs Reg 155 Macro 13 Micro 3 1005fps
Many thanks. Do you believe, given the action of both rifles and possibly the barrels are the same, that the likelihood is that their accurracy is the same? I forgot to mention that I was inspired by your video tour of Krale so my partner and I went to Krale. We met the owner and he gave us a tour of the building. It was very enjoyable and we'll visit again if we travel to Holland. Take care.
@@ursine010155 yes the accuracy will be the same 👍 the action and barrels are 100% the same and the only difference is in the air supply and the way it’s mounted to the rifle . So you visited Krale 👌 it’s a awesome shop in my opinion. Good thing it’s 3u drive away from me or I will be theaters every week 🤣 did you get a tour from Richard or Gerrit ?
It was Richard. He took us right around the shop and also showed us the shooting range in the basement. I wish I was nearby, I would go there every day I have spare time to have a shoot out. By the way, have you seen and are you reviewing the Element Nexus Gen II? For my next rifle I have a wish list of either FX Dynamic or Crown MkII and for the scope, Element Theos, or Nexus II or Hawke 5-30x56 with 34mm tube. Any thoughts or advice?
@@ursine010155 I don’t know your budget but I would choose a Panthera or Dynamic. As for a scope 🤔 I have seen the Nexus gen 2 👌 also own the Gen one . I you are looking for a good scope the new nexus wil serve you just fine but the Theos can give you that extra magnification and still keep the pictures sharp without distorting around the edges. For most people the new nexus with 24X is more then enough and saves you some cash unless money isn’t a problem go for the Theos
How did you adjust the scope so quickly from 25 yard to etc etc van you please share the Scope adjustment chart..... I can't get that quick while shooting
The chart will be useless for you as there are a lot of factors that determine the amount of kliks needed . Like for instance do you have a Mia build into the rail / how high is the scope mounted / what projectile do you shoot/ at what velocity/ etc….. I use a chronograph like the big one from FX to calculate the adjustments . I made a video about that aswel 😉
Yes weather and elevation matters a lot . Today was completely different weather with rain in the air and the velocity was 20fps lower then when we made the tune when filming this video
Hiya mate just converted my sub 12 177 panthera with sabre rail on front with 3oocc bottle and 300cc on back, what sort of shot count with 250bar fill, thanks 👍🏻
Most of these high end pcp rifles are expensive these days . The FX guns don’t only offer me a great shooting experience but I can convert them in different configurations, modify them , customize them etc . I get that it’s not everyone’s preference but if you compare and think what do you use ?
Will be doing this soon , it was just a friendly game between me and my son and wanted him to have a confidence boost so he will com more with me 😉 but still 6inch at a 175M ( 191yards ) with a little wind and a 22cal can be tricky sometimes. A 6inch at 180-200 yards is a standard size in airgun PRS matches aswel
Nice video seeing father and son having fun. Keep up the great work!
UNBELIEVABLE HOW ACCURATE THAT GUN IS. AMAZING.
