These stretches are goated rn the basketball season is starting and my legs have never felt this good especially during the beginning of the season. I do them every night and it helps my legs feel back to normal the next day. Thanks so much man!
Not even trying to dunk but doing these everyday for like 2 months have felt great for my legs. Used to barely do any stretches for them and now I can play more games, play better defense, and even jump a little more higher. Also injury prevention, I twisted my ankle coming down on someone’s foot and usually it would’ve taken months to years to heal but I just walked it off, finished the game and it took 2 days to fully heal. These are really great, I like the short durations.
I grew up in England so never played the game but recently discovered that - at 5:10 - I have an untrained cold-weather vertical which is an agonising 2cm below the rim (30-31 inches). Though I am never ever going to play the game the idea of touching the rim (and, perhaps, even grabbing it with one hand...) is now a burning ambition. In recent days I have watched lots of other CZcams videos focusing on building the power and reactive strength for improving the vertical but I reckon that with your stretches on a daily basis alone, I should achieve my ambition by Springtime, certainly by the Summer. It is the complete whole-body stretch programme and it is very helpful that the stretches are in a logical sequence and can just be followed in real time. I will be following it every morning for the foreseeable future. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
love you bro, starting to workout just about to turn 14 in my freshman year of highschool expecting to have a 25-27 inch vert by the time the season starts, im at 20 inches right now. got 3 months to go
Love the videos I have a question though how do you space your workouts for your training like what days strength and then what days for your plyometrics
Could you explain what some of these do and why you do them? Alot of us are taking bits and pieces and applying to our current routine and that would help greatly, thanks!
I do want to recommend something, these stretches are amazing and should be done everyday, but not right before a game or activity. These static stretches will pull open on your muscle, tendon, and ligament fibers, but with that it leaves them temporarily stretched out, and unable to react quickly. Doing these stretches before a game could cause you to actually injure yourself. Instead, do dynamic stretches before a game (butt kicks, quick high knees, soldier boys, etc.). Save these static stretches for either when you first wake up or before you go to bed. Keep up the good work!
Hey, I love the stretching routine! I have a question though - what's the point of the 6:14 stretch? I don't get it, but I'm still doing it along with the rest, and I don't know if im doing this correctly
Dynamic Warm ups before a basketball game or leg day to unlock athleticism, then follow up with a static stretch post-game or post-training to relax the muscles and keep your legs in good health.
I’m 5’9 and can barely touch the net, I have 2 months until hooping season and i’m trying to at least touch rim. I’m going to do this every morning and night, while combining it with strength training and plyometrics to try to get up there. I will update in 2 months.
@@koreyharris5116 im still returning from an injury and i kind of forgot about it but im gonna start full time tonight along with weight training…. vert has improved a small amount the two weeks i did do these
Just warm up bro u don't need to stretch before a game because if you do your muscles will relax and u won't perform well during games it's better to stretch after the game for recovery

Do I use these stretches after doing a Plyometric workout?
Love the videos I have a question though how do you space your workouts for your training like what days strength and then what days for your plyometrics
I either leave 1 day in between a strength day and a plyo day for rest or I do them back to back
Could you explain what some of these do and why you do them? Alot of us are taking bits and pieces and applying to our current routine and that would help greatly, thanks!
Should i do this every morning or every night?
6'3 Still trying to get my first windmill hopefully this helps. I am going to use this before every basketball and volleyball game i have forever!

You should feel it in your hip flexor. Actively flex the glutes lean forward so that you can feel that stretch
@@RiqB Thanks a lot. Love the quick reply ❣🙌
