I found a huge liquor store called friar tucks back in 2013. They had mix/match build your own six pack. I picked up the anchor steam beer based on the artwork and name. It was my favorite domestic
Great idea!!! Love Anchor Steam and was thinking I should just brew it myself too, cheers 🤣
Austin, thank you for posting this video! I grew up about 15 mins south of SF and I just finished school in NY. We have Anchor here at our bar and it’s always been one of my favorites (no bias, I promise). I just ordered some hops and yeast to try my hand at a clone the other day. I couldn’t believe the news when I heard it.
Of course!
And sounds like a great way to carry on the legacy! Hope it turns out great 🍻
Excellent content as always! BTW I've used Oslo, the kveik from Bootleg Biology, and it produces absolutely great lagers at 95F. Give it a try!
Oh man, I’ve been meaning to make a Kveik batch. I will certainly give that a try! Cheers! 🍻
I have yet to have a good Kveik "lager". Not hating. I can just instantly tell it was Kveik fermented and I don't like it.
Could you do a video on brewing salts? I've never tried using them because I have no idea what to use
Well i'm certainly no expert on water chemistry but I can definitely put together a video on how I use brewing salts, and what I try to achieve by using them if you think it would be helpful!
