  • How would you react if you were told that you are terminally ill with pancreatic cancer?
This is the heart warming story of Craig who is doing just that.
He lives his life one day at a time with support from his loving wife Joan and his close circle of family and friends.
This documentary's aim is to help raise awareness for Pancreatic Cancer.
    www.justgiving.com/fundraisin...
For more information about this horrible disease please visit:
    www.pancreaticcanceraction.org
At Pancreatic Cancer Action they strongly believe that raising awareness of pancreatic cancer and the its signs and symptoms can save lives.
More than 50% of patients have never heard of pancreatic cancer before their own diagnosis and half the population cannot name a single symptom of pancreatic cancer - that’s why raising awareness is so vital!

My father died from pancreatic cancer. He went from being mobile and athletic to bed ridden and dead 3 months after his diagnosis. One of the most traumatizing moments in my life. He sorta shriveled up and stopped breathing. I miss him so much. Hug your friends and family...make sure to tell them you love them. Life is way too short.

My dad passed away of pancreatic cancer at the age of 64. He had no symptoms until 3 weeks before he passed away. He was diagnosed with stage 4 January 25, 2019 and passed away February 11,2019. He was put on hospice 2 days before he was supposed to come home. He showed no pain and refuse to take any medication. He showed how strong he was until his last breath. I miss him everyday and hope he is resting in peace. 🙏🏼

I’m a real cynic but I doubt there will be a cure whilst drug companies make so much money. My husband died from terminal cancer, the NHS wouldn’t pay for one of his chemo drugs the oncologist wanted to give him. Fortunately we had BUPA who were brilliant through all of it.

My mom's very close friend passed away yesterday afternoon/night at 8:59pm from stage 4 pancreatic cancer.. it ate her up to the point she couldn't even move anymore started getting lumps on her back side ect... and those lumps showed up yesterday the day she died.. which is odd.. it was sad.. that's why I'm here. My mom has pancreatitis which is really bad. She had it since she was 16 when she had me. That organ can cause serious issues if it goes bad from pancreatitis which is extremely painful or you could get pancreatic cancer which is extremely lethal...

Right at the moment, the chemo is shrinking my tumour, but unfortunately it is wrapped around a main artery and crossing some blood vessels. I can understand if you don't want to divulge too much on this forum, so if you like I can refer you to a cancer support site that I have joined recently and we can touch bases there?

I was diagnosed with stage 2 pancreatic cancer on 1/1/2019. Did not do what the oncologist suggested, chemo and surgery. I chose to use Rick Simpson oil and did the protocol- 60 grams in 90 days. Oncologist said I had about a year to live if I didn’t do anything. The oil is THC and CBD. It’s taken internally. THC causes apoptosis, CBD keeps the cancer from spreading. It’s nearly a year now and I’m feeling pretty good. No symptoms like before, no pain, nausea, weird allergies... I follow the pancreatic diet religiously and exercise regularly. Never went back to UCD cancer center.

    • @lma1943
      @lma1943 Před 4 lety +4

B A It’s called Rick Simpson oil, or RSO for short. Made from the marijuana plant . It’s 60 %THC, 40 %CBD. Taken internally, not smoked. The protocol is to ingest 60 grams in 90 days. You have to work up to it because it’s very strong. The diet is basically an anti inflammatory diet which is easy on the pancreas. No wheat, no white potatoes or white rice, no sugar, no alcohol, no peanuts, no pickles. This allows your body to work on seeking out abnormal cells and the like and not spending all night cleaning up inflammation. So that’s basically it. 💕

A better term is "cinderella cancers". This can be used for any illness which is overlooked, due to gender, prevalence or morbidity. For some cancers the results were extremely heartening - survival rates at five years for breast cancer was around 84 per cent; there was a similar result for skin cancer.
But for other cancers, the so-called ‘Cinderella cancers’, the statistics were not so positive - around 11 per cent for lung cancer; 15 per cent for cancer of the oesophagus; five per cent for pancreatic cancer; 13 per cent for brain cancer.

I would kill myself if I was told I had pancreas cancer that had metastasized. It's one of the most painful ways to die. Much rather jump in front of a train or overdose on heroin.

@@terrifoster2525 my "sadism" as you so crudely put it, is a direct result of our unfair right to euthanasia law(or lack thereof), I would have much rather been in a position to say that I'd opt for euthanasia in the event I developed Pancreatic Cancer but the state of our country and many more around the world means I dont get to die with dignity and instead would have to commit suicide which is not dignified in any sense other than me getting to choose when I die which we all should have the right to do.

I have pancreatic cancer right now, I’m going for surgery in 2 days as to where they are going to remove part or all of my pancreas, I don’t care if I die, I’m one of those people who were born with very limited emotions so if I live I live if I don’t that’s fine, it’s probably for the better.

@@russellbenney7605Just saw this, I’m still alive. I had surgery the surgery June 21, I am literally just now feeling better and able to eat almost normal. The recovery is brutal AF, ALOT of suffering and barely eating. I had muscle degeneration and am still weak, I lived in Tums and pain killers for quite awhile. I stopped oxycodone because of constipation and used advil but took so much advil I ended up with gastritis from the advil on top of the whipped pain.
I lost 3/4 of my pancreas and still have to get checked every 6 months. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, it may take awhile but hang in there.

Research says that Oregano,Chamomile and Mint teas does help with preventing this type cancer from taking place. Good Luck and God Bless to you all!...

There's is nothing to confirm that Oregano and Cruciferous vegetables will reverse the disease...The only thing it says that These items from teas and cruciferous foods are good for Pancreas...But there's nothing to confirm that it will heal your pancreas...
You could try Long Days fasting aka "AUTOPHAGY" that could help fight off cancer cells..
For sure Cancer cannot survive without Carbohydrates feeding from it.So avoid Sugars and refined carbs and perhaps even limit yourself from eating much of complex carbs as well. This could be a way to starve and eliminate the cancer.
      This doesn't sound easy tbh...
