Diamond in the witch house is such a badass song. The intro is insane
Scott Kelly - not really a member, but at the same time a Mastodon record would feel incomplete without him.
And unfortunately we get that.......its okay though Hushed and Grim is still terrific regardless
Together with my daughter and son I had the luck to see Mastodon AND Scott Kelly just before corona hit. That was awesome and a great experience!
Gods, all of them
I am a giafuckingnourmous Mastodon and Neurosis fan, got into Neurosis in 1988 and Mastodon in the early 2000s. I had such a geek moment when I first heard that Scott Kelly scream on Aqua Dementia. I was like HOLY SHIT ITS NEUROSIS PLAYING PUNK AGAIN, BUT ITS MASTODON! I mean I knew it was Mastodon, but it so had that early Neurosis vibe that it literally sounded like a good translation of what Neurosis might have sounded like if they stayed hardcore. I’m glad they didn’t because they gave us a whole new genre of incredible music, but they did punk very well too. Mastodon definitely has serious Neurosis influences, and that’s a good thing. Incredible bands, incredible people.
These two bands are INCREDIBLE. Neurosis, Mastodon, happy they're friends and work together. So f'n cool.
So much depth to all of this gawddayum I love these guys and these bands
“AND GOD WATCHED OT BUUUUUUUURRRRN!” Is one of my favourite bits in leviathan

Yeah I Was there and we shot the show on 3 cams. Got stranded on the tarmac for that blizzard and earned a rt ticket from airlines that left me out there with no food or drinks.
It’s bad ass that they have Neurosis so much pub. I’ve been into the since Souls At Zero .
