- The Sierra Leonean President Ernest Bai Koroma has called on the people of Sierra Leone to allow the National Electoral Commission to carryout its mandate to announce the results. His remark came shortly after voting at a polling station close to his personal home at Goodrich, in the capital, Freetown. VOA's Peter Clottey caught up with the president and asked him about the significance of today's elections.
