But the button should not even be inducing with QQ maybe even KK he shouldn't induce with ICM.
Once NKJH limps the button. the short stack in the BB is out, the bubble is burst..
Oh I get it now! Even if NKJH limp-calls off on the bttn, he will still finish in the money if he loses as the short stack is finishing 3rd no matter what.
So it's not a mandatory shove for tonka.
9:30 how is this a 100% shove on the button? i dont understand, they both have pretty much even stacks
exactly. the icm implication is that neither of them wants to call an all in so that both have to play super tight. plus you're risking relatively little of ur stack so the blinds when they fold + the times when u win make it a super profitable shove. i think that's right anyway

He only has 10bb + one of the people behind has less, he has a lot of fold equity and the ante's and blinds are like huge in these sitandgo's which means you can shove a bit wider than normal, However this shove is still close tho i think. It's definitely okay tho

Andrew Ramsay It's close...but player dependant implied ICM is why he folded I think. (Knowing the other guy is a rec and could easily make a mistake and ladder tonk into the $)
Ya i know he mentioned about the other players but it just seems like such an auto gamble spot. He was right in this case obv. Kind of shallow stacks to believe there is much edge but i guess hes pretty good at this sit and go thing
Andrew Ramsay ya I agree. And also it usually backfires when you play like that final 3. You just get blinded down playing too passive and sabotage any equity you may have had. Close spot there all things considered

hi, could someone explain me behind the strategy of letting his opponent get a walk at 22:13?
pokerpro59 tonkaaa being seated in between the two players, he can walk the player sitting out to 'maintain the bubble' like he says. Essentially, the other guy should NOT be folding on his button (sit-out players BB) but as long as he does, tonk can then jam or raise his own button to force the active player to fold his BB - as it would be suicidal to lose chips with the guaranteed bubble sitting out. Basically.....tonka makes chips (active players BB) every time he can walk-then-jam into the active player. Not a situation that happens often, but shows the skill divide between him and the other player to understand the situation.
