- My top recommended places to stay in Bucerias based on proximity to the beach, restaurants, quiet level, private pools and things to do nearby. I’ve included an all inclusive resort, a villa-style accommodation, a condo rental and boutique hotel.
If you're looking to buy real estate in Bucerias, these are all in different areas to give you a good starting point of which streets and areas you might like to try.
Bucerias, Mexico is an authentic & chill beach town only 30 minutes from Puerto Vallarta.

If you’re traveling as a couple, for a week or more, I recommend Unelma Bungalows. There are only 4 suites on site, and you have a pool and a gate that opens up to the beach. You’re right across from a coffee shop, an Italian restaurant and a local taco joint.

Royal Decameron All Inclusive
I recommend this hotel if you’re traveling as a family, as a group or if you want an all inclusive hotel just outside of Puerto Vallarta for something quiet(er) with access to a more authentic area. This hotel is beachfront, has lots of pools and restaurants and is walking distance to the fun market.

Perla del Mar
I recommend this condo if you want to stay in a quiet area with quick access to Puerto Vallarta. If you’re looking to potentially buy real estate in Bucerias, this is a great neighborhood - it’s close to grocery stores, breweries, local restaurants and a sports bar.

Can you walk on the beach from Unelma Bungalows into The restaurants in Bucerias that you showed in your walking tour? Or all the way to the Centro area? Also how far from Karen’s on the beach is it located?
Yes, Unelma is beachfront, and about a 10 minute walk into Centro or Karen's!
I booked at Unelma Bungalows through booking but I’m sooo confused on how payment works. Can you explain please?!
Yes, when you make your reservation on Booking, you'll get charged about 50-60% of the total price, and then you pay the rest of the balance when you check-in (on arrival)
