The tax aspect is where I have concern. Firstly, we will be lieing about ourselves and where we are from. Secondly, supposing Amazon wakes up one day to do a background check and trace you to Nigeria? Lastly, supposing your work becomes Best seller and you become famous? Automatically your nationale and where you live will become known. I feel, coming out clean is still the best because we never can tell where our work will take us to. Hence, 30% shouldn't speak against us.

Can't I do the the kdp thing on the website using my pc without downloading the app. Alternatively, can I download the amazon seller app instead of the shopping app?

Currently Nigerian phone numbers are not receiving the otp code required to signup... can't say why.

Like, if a person wants to purchase your product on Amazon, will the product be in Naira or Dollar?
If the product is sold in dollar, can a buyer purchase the product in the Naira equivalent?

You are not selling in Naira, your product will be listed in currencies like USD, EUR OR GBP... People can still buy in Naira, but you will get payment in the currency you listed for your product, which will most likely be USD or EUR or GBP.

You're not paying any money. Wait for 24 hours and if you didn't receive the account number, simply chat them up on their website, they will help you out.

Thank you so much for sharing, I have successfully opened an account with Amazon Kdp using this but I noticed that I wasn't supposed to use the same login details as the regular Amazon seller account I had created earlier so I used another email and name to create the current one on Amazon KPD. I got to the ‘add a bank account section’ and I wanted to add my Payoneer account but this account is in my full name and email which is different from what I have on the Amazon KPD profile that I had just created, My question is; Can I proceed to add the Payoneer account even if the name on the account doesn't match what is on the Amazon KDP profile?
