उप प्रभागीय न्यायाधीश अथवा उपखण्ड मजिस्ट्रेट (एसडीएम) एक पद है जो कई स्थानों पर जिला उपखंड के आधिकारिक मुखिया को मिलता है तो कई जगहों पर प्रशासनीक अधिकारी को। कई स्थानों पर यह जिले से निम्न स्तर के अधिकारी को भी दिया जाता है जो सम्बंधित देश की सरकारी संरचना पर निर्भर करता है। भारत में दण्ड संहिता १९७३ के अनुसार उपखंड अधिकारी को विभिन्न कार्यकारी और न्यायिक अधिकार प्राप्त हैं।
