    Everything comes out perfect. So far bagel, fresh toast sticks and fish sticks.The square basket is a game changer czcams.com/users/postUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB You get so much more room than the round basket.I’ve had it for about 24 hours.Only drawback I’m having an issue with is the pulling out the basket but I know eventually I will master that as well.

    You are the first You Tube demonstrator who I can really relate to. Your kitchen looks like a real “working kitchen” rather than something from a show home and your instructions are really clear. Love that you also swap out timings and ingredients in several recipies as I’ve always done this myself. Thank you, I’m enjoying watching your videos; keep up the good work.

    I have this appliance in my kitchen. It’s a useful additional implement to have at your disposal in the kitchen. But, it is not an air fryer. That is simply a trendy marketing term. It is actually a compact, powerful, versatile and efficient, fan oven. There is nothing it can do, that your conventional fan assisted oven, can’t do. But, because of it’s compact size and powerful twin fans, it cooks more quickly and crisps food with more authority. It also uses far less energy than a full size oven, saving you money in the longterm.
    The mode buttons are actually superfluous. They do nothing more than select a preprogrammed temperature and time, which can be adjusted to taste by the end user. A simple temperature and time controls would suffice and vastly simplify the user interface, making it more user friendly. The dual zones, sync and match features are intuitive and I think the main selling point of this device. It is rather noisy. There is also plenty of competition in this lively market place.

    • @cookingwithsusie
      @cookingwithsusie  Před rokem

      The mode buttons in the duel zone actually control the fan speeds , I had a chat with Ninja about this as people asked me many times and I have said from the beginning that this is a compact efficient mini oven and that’s the way to think about them , I do find because of the excellent fans and the air circulation they do cook things better and crisper than my original oven ! My oven is a large old oven !! As you say there is a lot of competition out there and that is good for the consumer , the bigger Ninja I have is very noisy when on airfry mode but it is a very useful machine as it has an internal probe for meat temperature and also is an excellent pressure cooker . I like the quality feel I get from Ninja but I do know people who feel the same about there airfryers , I believe as in all things it should always be personal choice .

    Hi Susie. Interested in getting this air fryer. Could you please let me know:
    1 where the power cable is located on the back and how long the cable is.
    2 Are you able to lift it easily.
    3 Also how do you clean the inside ie after taking the baskets out as I suspect the underside will get fat splatters on it with certain foods.
    4 Would you be able to fit a while chicken in one of the baskets.
    Many thanks.
    Just found your channel and looking forward to catching up on all your videos and look forward to new ones. 😀

      Hi
      Thanks for contacting me , the Ninja I think is heavy to be moving it about much ! I can lift it and move it but would not be happy moving it every day ! The cable is on the back and is 30 inches long so not really very long . I have no problem cleaning the two baskets at all I lift the racks that are in them and soak in warm soapy water and the same with the two baskets and dry with paper towels , they are none stick and all marks seem to just wash off , I do tend to wash them as soon as I have finished using them . I think you would get a small chicken in one basket but I have not tried it , I tend to do Chicken breasts and drumsticks or thighs. I can only say I love mine and use it even more now that electricity has gone up so much , hope this helps . I have lots of videos waiting for me to edit so keeping checking in and I will get them out . Thank you again xx

    • @cookingwithsusie
      @cookingwithsusie  Před 2 lety

      That is there natural juices from the minced steak just come if out of them , we don’t use any oils for burgers , they sit on a little rack in the pan and a lot of fat collects in that so they don’t sit in fat either ! Very healthy way to cook . Xx

    • @theirmom4723
      @theirmom4723 Před 2 lety +1

      that is juice/fat that naturally occur with the meat. It will depend on the fat content of your burger. I usually buy 80/20 ground round for burgers on the grill. This gives the right amount of "fat" to meat ratio for juicy burgers. 90/10 ratio will give you a very dry, almost rice cake like patty..and 70/30 is way too much fat per meat ratio for anything.
