- This is the Alfie Boe journey to the National Memorial Day Concert on May 26, 2013. It includes the snippet where we first learned he would be performing at the concert, his message on the day's importance, his performance of Bring Him Home, the finale with his new best bud General Colin Powell (seriously, those two were having their own party on stage), and then a slideshow of some of the many photographs that were shared online by various fans, Team Boe, and other sources. Enjoy!

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that was awesome singing young boy!!!!!
Thank you so much for posting this. I watched the Concert on TV, but it is nice to relive it again and again.
This was wonderful! Thanks Orrymain1 for another wonderful video! I loved watching Alfie and Colin Powell together...2 wonderful men who seemed to be connecting...how wonderful could that be?
Thank you.
Alfie so honored the service men and women and expressed the feelings of all the loved ones who pray for their safety.
Thanks for producing this compilation for us. Flo and I were away at the weekend so it's great to be able to catch up with the event in one amazing video. Thanks for sharing. Deb x
...wow!! Can't believe, watching this concert was my first knowlege of Alfie Boe. ......His performance of this song, is as near perfection as we touch here on earth! ..... Beyonce, this is "bringing it" LIVE, to a live audience at a historic moment... and I'm a bit sad for those who cannot tell the difference. Was really glad to "google" and find this video, as right away I hoped to be able to re-experience this magical moment!

I first "heard of"/"heard" Alfie Boe in PBS's television special of the 50th Anniversary concert version of "Les Mis" at the O2 Arena in London a few years ago: I almost fell off my chair, was spellbound for 4 hrs, then ran to 'research' AB and find out why I had never heard of him before. Now I have all his CDs, so glad to see that his career is going in the direction he wants it to, and that he is achieving such success. From all interviews & accounts, it couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
You do the best filming. Thank you so much for this.
Thank you SO much for making this! We can always count on you for great vids!!
Thanks Orrymain1!!
Love the pic @15:36 It's like the little rocker in Alfie comes out to play for a sec. So comfortable. You can see he was having a blast.
Such a great voice! Orrymain1, thanks for posting this vid.
Thanks for posting. This really coverS
Awesome, I hope Alfie's participation is an annual thing.
who's finger slipped and disliked this?
Just to let you know it was the 25th anniversary, not 50th. I too got to know about Alfie with the same production, but I saw it in Oct 2012 in UK. i then looked him up and got most of his CD's. I was lucky to see him live this April and he was amazing. My 13 year old son came with me and was amazed at his powerful voice and energy1
Alfie was amazing in Les Mis, but you all should see his tony award winning performance as Rodolfo in Johnathan Miller's production of "La Bohéme". Beautiful production.
