Was thinking that myself, the SLS is beautiful so congrats on that one, but being a big fan of Rallying, particularly in the 80s and even more particularly, Group B, the R5 Turbo 2 is supercool, now who wants to see Tom in 205 T16 😎👍

Hi TGE i think the door struts may need replacing. Its the same on the slr mclaren after 2 years the struts become weak and need replacing. You can usally tell if they need replacing by pushing up on the door and if it fall back down just a little bit the are getting weak. They should stay where they are when pushed and have no play.
Congrats Tom!! My cousin has his SLS Black Series and SLS AMG in mars red. He had his transmission upgraded by AMG which was a very very expensive

Top purchase Tom. had a E63 with the same but detuned NA engine, would spin up the wheels at pretty much any speed, first outing in the rain nearly went sideways into a bus. Best sounding AMG imho - without the turbo pops and bangs it’s just pure nascar growl that makes you grin like a child. Keep it topped up though, 4mpg in traffic gets stressful if you’ve got less than a quarter of a tank. Those doors make it iconic.
Good choice Tom. You are starting to get into the modern classics - IMO more interesting than the latest supercars.

the clue with the gearbox is to shift under load, then you get relatively instant shifts...... If u get off the accelerator and then blip the gears, they take forever to engage..... try shift while you are still pushing the gas slightly, makes it all go smooth and fast......

awesome car,like piece of art. I enjoy the way you represent each new car , very easy to watch.
The only thing I thought is handle, as for me it is located too low, therefore it migh be dirty by staff going under weel.

Really like it in Silver .... just like a classic Gullwing .... fantastic. The sculptural design element's really comes to life in this colour that seem to be lost in a darker hue ...

I watched Hoovies vlog on his SLS and as long as you service and change the oils in the gear boxes regularly etc it will last.
Silver is the colour 👍🏻Not a fan of black wheels these days as its getting old but I do think satin black wheels done properly like Shmee did on the AMG Gtr would be Hell.

Been in one of them Renault 5s scared the crap out of me as it was the first time as a passenger in a left hand drive and it was really quick as it had a tune on it also.
