1980. Damn. Good times ~ I ruled my world & listened to this music. I left home ( too young my mother cried) and attended the U of M. Lived with 5 guys in a 3 man house. Worked nights driving a fork-lift. Drove a muscle car that - like me - was all power with no control. Spent any free time hunting for and having sex. Felt young & strong & indestructible. My testosterone level was way up to my blurry eyes, which I squinted through at a world I dared to get in my way. The album CRASH & BURN played in my car (and in my brain) constantly. Full volume.
19 year old athlete. Handsome as a naked greek statue, and dumb as a rock. Had no idea what to do with myself beyond enjoy this fantastic music and revel in the feeling that I was the king of the world. 1980. Damn.

Work into his follow up album 'Crash and Burn' and you will have the complete essence of that lineup. There's a lot to go through. Those two albums alone would be worth every red cent you spend.

This whole LP is just sic...one of my favorites. "Snortin Whiskey and Drinkin Cocaine," I mean c'mon, what else do you need in a cut? Adrenaline Mob does a pretty good cover of it. Saw Aerosmith, AC/DC, and Pat Travers on the same bill in '79...$6
