- Don't take anything personal. Don't take anything seriously. Don't let the work environment get to you. Managers are doing what computer programs tell them to do. They don't have any real understanding of what its like to actually work for amazon has an entry level employee. Most of them never even did the job, and started off as mangers. And those who did don't have any room to be considerate because their managers are even more demanding of them than they are of you. If you're having bad experiences, look around as see how many people are in the same situation as you. You may notice its really not that big of a deal. And sometimes the managers are just saying what they're supposed to say to you, and what to say to every other worker. Focus on yourself, and on your life goals, Not Amazon.

I'm seasonal part time at sorting. I'm working about 5 hours 5 days a week. I'm so glad I started with part time to ease my way in.
5 hours 5 days a week, when I used to work at my site, they didn't offer any part time, 5 hours 5 days a week really doesn't sound that bad, for me, sometimes the long days would get to me after im all tired out and still have to keep working, I used to tried to meditate while I was actually working 😅
I enjoyed the work then injury hit. Being an essential worker, 5 months later I’m finally hitting a operating room to fix what the human body can not fix.
5 months and 2 physicians who agreed I needed surgery. If I was an Amazon conveyor broken part, I would be fixed over night like a package.
Be mentally and physically fit and it’s very sterile environment. Don’t plan to stay employed long.
I quit today. I got told after my first 2 weeks I wasn't moving fast enough.
This happens a lot, a lot of people leave within the first few weeks, especially if they have other job experience that not as crazy and demanding
I agree w u. Most people I see there look like they just dont care lol. And I do like the "negative" vids, because I learn alot lol
oh thank you, I do feel conflicted making them because I usual make positive and encouraging videos, if they help someone, or if its something I feel like I should talk about then I make it though either way
its really true though, sometimes it was really other people that throw off my day, and I would be really careful who I talked with often over their, ive really had a few moments where someone would very openly yell out how upset they were at the job 😅😅😅
Aww you're sweet.
Thank you for sharing 💚.
Yes your videos are super helpful
thank you so much Von, I really do hope their actually helpful 😁😆😁😆
Damn Brother. You nailed everything.
I remember when hard work was sorta expected.
So many companies would be doing well in business if amazon didn't exist. You can't even compete w amazon.
Awwww thank u. Most people that started with me are gone.
you gave me the idea for this video, so thank you, sad to hear 👂 most people are gone already the you started with, that kind of tells you what its like to work for amazon in one statement their
I think their employees retention is actually somehow getting worse, and People are just like, I ain't doing this, working at Walmart was less work 🤣
thank you super much for watching and commenting 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
Good advice. Amazon doesnt care about you. Remember that when some clown tells you how your rate can “improve.” Just try to be noticeably average if you are not trying to care.
It’s an ironic system, If everyone rate is high, then they raise the minimal rate, almost like your punished for being a better worker
@@OurWorldShifted i can deal with the work but the time offs vacation and breaks it sometimes get in my nerves when manager tells me I’m late
They just yelled at us yesterday by monitor message about leaving 5 minutes early for breaks.
You are supposed to get 6 extra minutes to wash your hands because of COVID.
Tip, take your 30 min break use it to eat and piss, take your 15 but don’t go too far from work stations
The same day lol I did over 2 years there I seem to love it I’m a stower I’m one of the best stowers they got
Just because you love it doesn't mean everyone else needs to love it.
You said the word fun turn the job into fun I connect my Alexa speaker I listen to music the entire 12 hours I scan an put away items while listening to music my rates have completely improved an I’m very happy with my job it’s your mindset if you don’t find a way to enjoy your job you will not have success
I thought music wasn't allowed.
@@ActuallyAuberyPODCAST that depends on witch wear-house your in an witch managers our ok with it
I'm more than half way through this video. I'm waiting to hear how the 4 or 5 hour work gap was explained.
Picking from bins. Amazon has a scan timer and if it exceeds it says your not working
How do I change managers?
When I worked their, at a fulfillment center, the managers got rotated every six months, they might change the management if you just wait, that or go to a different department
How about? How do u change jobs?
You guys are weak. I stow and pick at Amazon 10 hours/day. It's too easy. I can do this all day. I don't even get tired. I guess I'm super human.
My tip is don't work at amazon.
Hahahaha he forgot to say that, but probably a hidden policy in Amazon when he joined that does not allow him to say that
