i took a different approach to composing this time: usually i write piano pieces inside the daw by placing notes until i find something that sounds good, but this time i decided to write it on a piano, and i think it turned out pretty good :)) tell me what you think :0

I think writing it on the piano helped out a lot.
Do you find it easier or harder to do?
I still have difficulty composing straight from instruments still

i think it was easier, but i only wrote the first 8 bars or so on the piano, the rest was was improvisation and a key change to add a bit of variety. hope this helps :D

Makes sense since sometimes I accidentally play a melody that sounds really good when I’m messing around with my instrument. So I can imagine having a midi keyboard would be good for this specific scenario, to turn it into this.
