  • Preparation, position, planning and protocol of ct pulmonary angio.. Most of the time patient not able to hold breath as breathlessness is the common indication of pulmonary thrombo-embolism, in that case i would suggest to do scan without breath hold instruction if you have 64 slice or above , kindly comment for any doubt or suggestion, thanks

      ROI should be on pulmonary trunk, but in some ge (16 slice) machine we were keeping roi on right atrium as well

      Hi Alaa, protocol are set as pulmonary angio, time delay is 5 second to let patient hold his breath.. and rate of injection is 5ml/sec..
      Reconstruction I have shown in this video...and sending images to pac's, every machine has different settings...we have Siemens 128 slice ...here we go to browser , select image and transfer to PACS and other destinations...thanks for interaction

      @surjeetsinghvirk647  Před 3 lety +1

      Hello dear, if you are asking about any ct angiography, it's done with auto trigger with HU value feed,,, however if you don't have auto trigger then 20 seconds for arterial, 35-40 seconds for portal and 55-60 seconds for venous phase (4.5 ml/ seconds)
