- Preparation, position, planning and protocol of ct pulmonary angio.. Most of the time patient not able to hold breath as breathlessness is the common indication of pulmonary thrombo-embolism, in that case i would suggest to do scan without breath hold instruction if you have 64 slice or above , kindly comment for any doubt or suggestion, thanks
Super sir brief explanation thank you sir 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻💐💐💐💐
We give contrast in RT anticubital fossa ...why should not in left side???
Hello, there is a feeling of pressure, tightness and shortness of breath in the upper lobe of the right lung, which has become chronic, a tomography was taken, nothing came out, what else can I do?
Thank you sir
Thanks for watching
Its help me alot..thanks alot brother
Thanks for support...may God bless you 🙏
@@surjeetsinghvirk647 sir can you give me your whatsapp number please
If any patient have gone through already 2 hrct ct scan going through this procedure what about radiation that emitted by machine????is it very dangerous
Sir fist of all ur knowledge is great and thanks for such videos...I have one doubt regarding ROI..like we can put ROI on svc, Rt ventricle or as u said pulmonary trunk in CTPA right?!!!.....so when to put where,,which roi method should I follow...Its really confusing for me..
ROI should be on pulmonary trunk, but in some ge (16 slice) machine we were keeping roi on right atrium as well
Nd contrast kitna diya h
why need to do pre contradt for PE protocol? late PE but diagnostic! nice work! and our radiologist now, not asking for MIP reformats!😩
Depending upon what machine is ur using....thanks for watching 🙏
Hi can you show as how do you choose the protocol , time delay and the rate of injection
I want to see how do you do the reconstruction and sent it to pacs system
Thanx
Hi Alaa, protocol are set as pulmonary angio, time delay is 5 second to let patient hold his breath.. and rate of injection is 5ml/sec..
Reconstruction I have shown in this video...and sending images to pac's, every machine has different settings...we have Siemens 128 slice ...here we go to browser , select image and transfer to PACS and other destinations...thanks for interaction
Sir Philip's machine k vdo bnaiye
Sir pls provide filiming videos also sir
How much was the pitch in embolism ? And how much was the HU TRIGGER ?
Hello Mohammed, the pitch is 1.2mm and direction is cranio-caudal .. the HU we use here is 80 on pulmonary trunk
And...which side is suitable for cannulation.....Rt /Lt..?
Left side to avoid artifacts from superior vena cava....and if possible use NS if u have double syringe in pressure injector
Sir what is filming procedure of tha head anjio making procedure
Hello sir, for ct angio filming, u have to give 1 plain film 5x5, 2 film source MIP images in axial 5x6, 1 film of 3d MIP circle of Willis head to feet rotation 3x4 , 1 film of 3D MIP circle of Willis right to left rotation 3x4, and film of neck angio 3D MIP 4x3
Hi sir .. Am Ajinkya ex trainee of urs
I have dought regarding vein blood flow
I mean how much seconds to taken blood from the hand to brain or hand to lower limb
Plzz Ans..??
Hello dear, if you are asking about any ct angiography, it's done with auto trigger with HU value feed,,, however if you don't have auto trigger then 20 seconds for arterial, 35-40 seconds for portal and 55-60 seconds for venous phase (4.5 ml/ seconds)
@@surjeetsinghvirk647 thank you sir❤️
Sir, can you tell me plz?.....about the timing of pulmonary angio....
We are doing it on auto trigger method...HU should be 80 in pulmonary trunk...
@@surjeetsinghvirk647 can you please tell me the contrast volume calcution... Because u have told weight into 1.5....that means for 80 kg patient need 120 ml... This is too much.... Maximum 40 ml is enough for pulmonary angio
My whatsap 00966543491421
Almost pure pulmonary angio there's bit contamination otherwise its marvelous
Thanks 😊
Sir can you please send me Hitachi 128 slice protocol
Or please give me suggestions for CT pulmonary angio scan
Which contrast is used for this study
Ominipaque 350mg, I didn't worked on hitachi, if I find will send it for sure

Okay sir thanks for replying...
Why music? Very bad
Iv bolus ki value kya rkhi h aapne
Hi chirag,, contrast is set according to weight, that is 1.5 ml per kg (if patient weight is 60kg than contrast should be 90 ml) with flow rate of 4.5 ml per second.... HU value is set on 100 on main pulmonary trunk
Ok thnxxxx. Nd u performed angio very well.
Thanks for the support...
