    Ideal for those who find traditional string floss painful or awkward, the water flosser provides an ideal alternative solution that is kind to your teeth and gums.
    Mains powered, this is a bit bulky and noisy. It also takes a bit of practice as you have to dribble when using this.
    6 interchangeable tips give different options for different users.

    About Electric Teeth
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Launched in 2015, this channel accompanies www.electricteeth.co.uk which has been founded on the principle of giving genuine, honest feedback on products that exist within the dental and oral health industry.
    We are not dentists or medical professionals, we are just passionate individuals that want to give readers the information and answers to questions that they may not have found elsewhere.
    Purchasing an electric toothbrush (powerbrush) or dental care product may seem simple on the face of it, but is it really; in fact this is how the whole site came about.
    Back in 2014, Jon was unable to really make any clear sense of what each brush did and how each one differed from the other.
    In an attempt to ensure others do not suffer the same pain Electric Teeth aims to do away with the myths and fluffy marketing and cut to the core, telling you our thoughts on products. Are they any good, how much do they cost to own and ultimately are they right for you.
    Detailed written content to hands-on videos and images, delivered in what we believe to be an informative and useful layout, our ultimate aim is to give you what you want.
    You can expect us to cover brands including but not limited to Braun Oral-B, Philips Sonicare, Colgate, Panasonic Dentacare, Arm & Hammer, Crest, Waterpik, Wisdom and many more.
    Please enjoy the content we have on offer.
    We welcome feedback, good or bad.
    I just ordered this (in the USA). You held that plug up and I had a moment of panic- "That's not gonna work!" - before I remembered the plugs are different in Europe :D
      Thanks for the comment. We want to do more comparisons of flossers, but its a question of time in most cases.
      We try to cover the items people request most. It is certainly our intention to be as comprehensive as we can be an more water flosser comparisons are planned.
      At 1:49 he clearly demonstrates the location of the “main power button”
    I got this. Worked well for about 3 years and then started leaking from the bottom.
    I have used a Waterpik for many years. The first one that I purchased lasted for about 15 years! The newer models ...I am lucky to get 3 years use from them. Why is Waterpik not producing a durable product anymore?
      Like most modern products companies they realise its more profitable if their products degrade quickly
    The problem with this is you have to hold the button to stop the flow and the power off is on the unit. If your hands are wet or you have weak hands the button is impossible to hold to stop the water. I have been shot in the face, my bathroom has been hosed and the ceiling has had water shot over it. This is not great for people with weak hands. Also sounds like a generator when on.
    u use normal flossing ? :))) why ? those products that u show us are not good ? :))
    • @ElectricTeeth
      @ElectricTeeth  Před 2 lety
      They are different. If you can't get in the habit of regular flossing then water flossers can be helpful.
    Yet another plastic electrical device none of us need, I use different size inter dental brushes, and they are available in bamboo now too.
    • @ElectricTeeth
      @ElectricTeeth  Před 4 lety +4
      Yes, it is good to see that bamboo products are now coming to the market.
      A water flosser can be helpful to those who may not have the dexterity to use small brushes or may have gaps too tight for brushes too.
    Not a good product. It waterpic's for one second then stops for two seconds. A job that should take about 4 minutes takes about 12 minutes. I want to floss, pic and brush and get on with my life not stand around waiting for this bloody machine to get on the job. 2 out of 5. Hopeless! Paid over $300 NZD for it too. My error!
