You did a VERY good job explaining how this can fit in our lives. Your explanation: you can throw an impromptu party, and your admition that you stayed in bed all weekend with this tablet speaks volumes about how useful it can be. I'm a musician and it is a shame that we often show each other songs using our phone speakers and often my friends try to use their iPad to play the song. This tablet, being louder, will seem to be the perfect device to fill that role. I have sometimes brought a Bluetooth speaker for that purpose but just the time it takes to find it, turn it on is slow enough that someone who found it on their phone becomes the one to play the example. I ordered one and am waiting for it to be delivered. Thanks for the good job.
I think for an "entertainment first" tablet not having an OLED and not going for the max screen size possible like their Tab Extreme is a miss. But I can understand wanting to keep costs down on such a niche device I appreciate Lenovo for trying something different
Yes they definitely wanted to keep this in the "low-mid budget" category. If this had an oled display and a screen size a few inches bigger this would be at least a couple hundred more than it is now. I think this is the best tablet at its price point. Where I live this costs 300€.
I have the yoga tab13 and have been waiting for another large tablet, maybe even bigger, but the prices of larger tablets is very high. The ipad air 13 inch almost got me excited. But it is STILL too expensive. This price point is almost at the splurge level. I ordered one. Quick charging, pen abilities, loud speaker, kick stand, gosh it sure is interesting.
I disagree. One would need an excellent audio capturing setup for this to work reliably, and then its not enough to just "show it off". To demonstrate how good the sound is one would need to compare it to other tablets next to it. Overall its pretty hard to do a speaker demo on a youtube video well, so i prefer just the word of the reviewer.
